Chapter 8

Swimsuit

*Y/n's POV*

I woke up to the smell of (whatever breakfast you want). I smiled then quickly put on some clothes then ran downstairs. I slid into the kitchen and saw Bill cooking f/f. He turned to me and smiled. I smiled back then grabbed my plate. "Good morning Bill." I smiled then turned around walking towards the table then sitting down where I can watch the news.

"Good morning y/n." he smiled. I smiled then looked at the TV. "A woman named Bethany died last night in an ally. There seems to be teeth marks everywhere on her body." the news lady said. I payed attention to what she said. 'Pennywise did this.' I thought. I looked at the time. The Losers should be here any minute but I don't want them to see Bill.

Elijah would turn crazy if he found out that Bill was my babysitter. I gobbled up my food then grabbed my backpack and ran out the door. "See you later Bill!" I closed the door just in time when the Losers came. I grabbed my bike and we started to pedal towards school. I got this weird vibe that someone was watching me.

At Lunch

"Did you guys hear about the 20 year old woman who died last night?" I asked the Losers. "No." "Well, it turns out that she had teeth marks everywhere on her body but most of her body was eaten by IT." I whispered to the Losers. "We need to stop him before he hurts anyone else." Ben said. "Yeah but, where do we find him?" Elijah asked.

"The burned up house that's down the street from our house." Stanley said. "Remember what happened last time. I almost got eaten by IT then I had to get a cast since I broke my arm." Eddie said. "Awww, do you want me to call your mommy?" Richie said. "Shut the fuck up Richie." Eddie said. "How about we do this on the weekend so we don't have to go home early?" "Yeah, we need to tell Mike about this since he's home schooled." I said.

After School

I stood with my bike, waiting for Bill. Minutes later he pulled up with his Lamborghini and honked. I smiled then walked towards the car while Bill put my bike in the back seat. He sat down and drove off. "Hey Bill?" "Yes?" "Can I hangout with my friends today. I'll be back before the sun goes down." I looked at him innocently.

"Yeah, whatever you want." he smiled at me then looked back at the road. "By the way, where is your brother? I forgot to ask." "Oh, he's on a trip for football." "Oh ok." Bill got my bike out of the trunk while I ran inside and grabbed my flashlight, investigation notebook, pencil and pen, two swimsuits just in case we swim in the lake, and two granola bars.

I zipped my backpack and ran out the door. "Bye Bill." I ran and grabbed my bike then pedaled to Beverly's. Beverley was outside with the Losers talking. I set down my bike and walked towards them. "So, lets plan." I grabbed my notebook and pencil out and started to write. "What time is it Billy?" I asked. "4-4:59." "Hey guys, wanna swim at the lake?"

"Yeah lets go!" Elijah said. We pedaled to the lake and set our bikes down once we got there. "Oh shoot- Beverly?" "Yeah?" "I forgot to tell you that I brought us swimsuits but we have nowhere to change." "Its ok, lets just swim in our underwear and bra." "What?!" "Yeah, its just like wearing a bikini." "True." We took off our clothes except for our underwear and bra.

The boys did the same thing and had underwear on. "Who's going to jump first?" Richie asked. "I'm not doing it." Eddie said. "Move out of the way boys." Beverly said. Me and Beverly laughed as we ran. The boys were staring at us but Elijah was blushing. Be and Beverly held hands as we jumped off the cliff and landed in the water. "Shit, we just got owned by girls." I heard Richie say.

Richie pushed Eddie in as Elijah jumped then the rest joined. I watched as everyone played with each other. I turned to my left to see Elijah looking at me then quickly turning away. I smiled at Elijah from him being cute. I had the weird vibe again that someone was watching me. I turned around but nobody was there. I sighed then turned back around.

We walked back up to the top and sat down. "Beverly?" "Yeah?" "I need to speak with you privately." she nodded. We walked a little bit away from the Losers so they won't hear us. "What is it?" Beverly asked. "I keep having this feeling that someone is watching me." "Maybe its Elijah." "No, whenever I look at him he's doing something else." "That's weird."

"What if its Pennywise but he's not coming out. Ever since Bill became my babysitter Pennywise never came. I am getting curious." "That is weird. None of us has seen him too." "Yeah and when Pennywise captured me I asked him "what's so special about me?" and he said "everything." but when I got a good look at him he looked so familiar." "Who did he remind you of?" "I don't know." "Don't worry, lets just go back to the Losers." "Ok." I smiled. Beverly side hugged me while walking back with the group.

After Swimming...

"See you later y/n!" Elijah said turning the left corner towards his house. "Bye Elijah!" I smiled. I parked my bike in the driveway then walked towards my front door but stopped once I saw Bill sitting on a porch chair. "Bill!" I whispered yelled. He turned towards me and got up. I grabbed his hand and pulled him inside. "What are you doing?!" "I was waiting for you. I was worried."

"I am happy that you care for me but my friends could have seen you." "Didn't you ask if they could com over sometime?" "I meant Beverly. Everyone else would flip if they new you were my babysitter. Elijah would mostly flip for some reason. I just don't want anyone to know your my babysitter. They will think we did stuff." "What stuff?"

"Just never mind. I'm going in my room." I walked upstairs and opened my room door. "But what about dinner?!" I slammed my door shut to let him now I was frustrated. I laid in my bed facing the wall while my back is facing the door. 30 minutes later I heard my room door knock. "Go away!" "Please let me come in. I'm sorry." Bill said sounding sad. "Fine." He opened the door as I sat up turning around.

He sat on the edge of my bed staring at me. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you mad." "Its ok. Its my fault for not telling you." I hugged him and he hugged back. He pulled away and looked at me. "Come and eat your dinner. I don't want you to starve." he tickled my stomach while I laughed. "B-BILL! S-STOP PLEASE!" I said laughing and trying to pull his hands away. He picked me up and put me on his shoulder while he walked downstairs.

*Elijah's POV*

"See you later y/n!" "Bye Elijah!" y/n smiled at me. I pedaled my bike down the road then stopped. "Shit, I forgot to give her the note." I mumbled to myself. I road back but stopped once I saw y/n talking to... Bill. My heart broke into two as I watched her pull him inside. A tear fell down my cheek as I turned back around and pedaled off. I stopped then ripped the love letter then threw it at the forest then pedaled away.
