The fairytale called taeminho

Chapter 20 ( final )

Minho and taemin were called in the living room suddenly on that day, they were in their room playing games. When onew entered with a smile. He knocked and minho replied instantly, he entered minho's room and both boys were sitting on carpet. Playing games on the screen ahead connected to a play station. They all went to living room. And the parents were sitting smiling. When they sat, taeyeon started talking,

" hi babies, we called you both here to make an announcement." She said. and looked at jonghyun.

Jonghyun cleared his throat and sat properly. "look babies, its not that we had some intentions to interfere in your relationship, we just doing it for your happiness.." jonghyun paused to look at taemin and minho's reaction and minho started talking.

" what are you saying appa, you have all rights to interfere and make decisions, we will respect that and accept gladly.." minho said and taemin nodded agreeing. Jonghyun smiled at them and then continued.

" so as your first anniversary gift... we planned something.." he said and looked at onew to continue. Onew smiled the brightest and happily started talking.

" we planned an engagement ceremony!" he exclaimed happily. All parents clapped together and danced happily. Minho and taemin froze. And after some time the parents asked for their permissions.

"its upto you baby. We can wait if you want.. we can do it when you want or before marriage when you are ready and everything. Its upto you.." key explained sweetly. Taemin had a faint blush and his eyes were shining, he was looking at floor, and minho also had red ears and looked like thinking hard. Then minho spoke breaking the silence.

"ofcourse, i agree,.." he said and smiled,, the parents squealed but they looked at taemin and then smiled again.

"taeminnie.. what do you say?" taeyeon asked. Taemin looked at her and smiled.

" actually I am not ready, I don't want this.." taemin said. it was silence again.. all parents looked sad and seemed like they are already crying. Taemin looked at minho and minho was looking at him with hurt in his eyes, he looked broken.

"sorry hyung.." he said and then again everything was just, silence.. then taemin spoke again.

"I am joking y'all, c'mon!" he exclaimed and everyone looked at him shocked. Then they all absorbed this and smiled. Then key asked again.

"so engagement is final?" he looked at both of them. then taemin happily jumped up and stood there, "YES!" taemin shouted and all laughed, then they enjoyed with some drinking and snacks. And that day was happiest for the family.

At night, taemin and minho were again at their favorite place, on the rooftop. The parents were sleeping, and they both were standing there looking at the sky, and the view. The cool breeze brought pleasure. Minho was hugging taemin from behind and they were relaxed in each other's arms. Minho slowly kissed taemin's cheek, and taemin giggled.

" its been so many years, we are together.." taemin said.

"what do you mean baby?" minho looked at him confused.

" nothing.. just that, we grew up together.. we loved each other from the start.." taemin said looking at minho. "you are more handsome from this angle.." he said. and minho laughed. And kissed taemin's forhead.

"I always loved you taemin, and I will love you forever.." minho said lovingly looking in his eyes.. "we will be together.. I will love you even when you get tired of me.." minho said jokingly..

" I'll never get tired of you hyung.. never stop loving me.." he said and closed his eyes while resting his head on minho's shoulder. Minho rotated him and hugged him properly, holding his waist, and taemin hugging around his neck. They stayed like this. And then kissed. A sweet loving kiss, in which both of them poured their unsaid words, and the memories of their childhood, and a bright future waiting ahead for them, and the steps they were going to take were not shivering, but were confident.

Little did they never noticed, taeyeon and jonghyun left after they broke the kiss, with a camera in hand. And then some squealing of key and laugh of onew. This is how this family ended happily. Childhood promises made a happy ending, and they were here, together in hardships, happiness and sadness. All of them. Together forever.

I looked up to you as my own tree,
