~ When you look in the mirror, what exactly do you see? Is it a little girl content with how her life is? Or is it more of a young adult, ready to graduate from college and move on to bigger and better things? Well for me, when I look in the mirror, all I see is fear. Fear of the things you shouldn't be, like walking home from school or eating the food my own parents have prepared for me. But all of that changed when we moved to Riverdale. My sister, Veronica, and I were pleased to hear that we were going to have a change of scenery. She was, however, a little disgusted when she learned where we were going. I was glad we were moving further away from my father. He is currently in jail but I don't think that will stop him from causing bad things to happen. In new york, I learned of his schemes and ideas from none other than my mother. Well kind of. She dropped an accidental hint for me, and I used it to my advantage. Anyways back to Riverdale, when we first moved here, everything seemed normal, well as normal as it can get living in Riverdale, with Hiram Lodge as your father, but it was okay for once in life. I didn't feel terrified of what might happen to me if I said the wrong thing to my father.
Basically what I'm trying to say is things were good.
~Veronica, Mother and I just moved into the Pimbrook, and we were starving so we had decided to get something to eat...
"Who is Pops, and what is a Chock'lit shop?" Ronnie asked Mother. She smiled at us, aware of my confusion as well.
"I guess you'll just have to wait and see" she replied to us, smirking.
When we arrived at Pops Mother was immediately recognized by, I'm guessing Pop. As they started making conversation, Veronica walked off to a booth. And that's where I met some of my best friends. Betty and Archie. I now have loads more but these were the first new people I met in Riverdale. I introduced myself politely and walked off to Mother. Archie and Betty clearly wanted to be alone, V obviously didn't get this so I left them.
We got our food and headed home. Mother and Ronnie at together while i ate all by myself in my bedroom. Nervous for school tomorrow.
