Internal Love

Chapter 3

      I wake up and realize I was I was in my bed in my dorm. I wonder was that all a dream. I get up and got ready for class. My roommate Vanessa usually is already gone to class by now. I hear a knock at my door. I open my door and there stands my boyfriend Tyler.

    "Tyler you should be resting" I said. Tyler looked confused.
    " What do you mean?" he asked.
    "You had a fever. You were sent to the hospital" I explained.
   "You ok, Isabelle?" Tyler said concerned. I thought to myself. So, it was all a dream. Will it come true or was it a sign? Tyler was trying to get my attention.

"Hey, we are going to be late."
"Right" I say and we walked to class. The day was so normal. I have a bad feeling about this. Tyler and I finished our tests. I got up to hand in my test. Then I bump into someone. I look to see my best friend Jackson.

"Oh, sorry Jackson" I said.
" It's ok don't apologize, it was my fault" Jackson said.
I help Jackson pick up the papers he dropped. I handed in my test and headed to my seat.

"What was that about?" Tyler asked. I realized its happening again. What going on? I knew I had a bad feeling. Please, tell me all this is another dream. I need to find out what's happening. Is my world turning upside down? Tyler got my attention and looked concerned.
   "You ok, Isabelle. You look like something is bothering you" Tyler asked.
   "I'm fine" I say.
   " I can tell when something is wrong, Isabelle." I can't tell him but I can lie.
   " I'm just worried about the test" I lied. Tyler didn't looked convinced but he believed me.
  "You'll be fine. I know you did great." Tyler said.
I nodded and the bell rang. Tyler and I walked out of class. I stopped to someone yelling my name.

" Isabelle, wait!" Jackson yelled. Oh no its happening again. What do I do? Tyler and Jackson got my attention.

"Isabelle, you ok? Jackson asked. Tyler looked concerned but some reason I was in my own world. I got distracted by some kind of scent. The scent seems familiar. Oh no, not this again. I need to find out where that scent is coming from. Tyler was snapping his fingers in front of my face. He got my attention, when my cell phone started to buzz. It was my older brother Derrik. I told Tyler and Jackson I needed to take it. I answered.

"Hello" I say.
" Hey Isabelle, how are doing?"Derrik asked.
" I'm doing good. Why did you call me? I have class."
"I-I just want to see how y-your doing."
"That's a lie."
"I'm not. Why would I lie?"
"We haven't talked since my junior year in high school."
"That's not true."
"Yes it is. You only talk to me when you want something."
"No, that's not----"
"STOP! I'm done with you."
"Isabelle, wait!" I hung up on him and I started to crying. Tyler came over and see me crying. He hugs me asked what's wrong.

"I'm done with everything. I'm not doing this anymore." I say as I cried into his shoulder. Tyler pulled away and looked into my eyes.

"Everything is going to be ok." Some reason the scent was getting stronger. I looked at Tyler. He's getting very pale right now. I need a excuse to get him to the nurse's office. So , I decide to pretend to be sick. I started to hold my stomach. Tyler looked at me concerned.

"You ok?" He asked.
"I don't feel very well" I say.
" do you want to see the nurse?"
"I think that a good idea."
" Ok, then ill take you."
Tyler helped me to the nurse's office and we told Jackson to tell the teacher that I'm at the nurse's office. We arrived at the nurse's office. She asked what's wrong.

"I don't feel very well" I say.
"Come sit down"
She  checked to see if I have a fever.
"You don't have a fever but your are a little pale."
She looked at Tyler.
"Dear, are you alright? You look very pale." She asked.
"I'm fine" Tyler said.
She looked concerned but she checked for a fever anyway.
"Honey, you have a fever. You look like your going to pass out."
"I'm fine" Tyler says trying not to alarm anyone.
"Please lay down" she said.
"Instead can I bring him to his dorm?" I asked.
"You can, please look after him. I'll excuse you from all your classes." She said.
"Ok, thank you" I say. I help Tyler back to his dorm. Tyler looked at me.

"You did that on purpose"he said.
"What do you mean?" I asked makes sure he doesn't know I did do it on purpose.
"Don't lie, I know you did that on purpose."
