Chapter 5

I don't know what just happened. I was back in reality. I saw books torn. Tables and chairs broken. Also, the librarian dead next to me. She had this unfamiliar amulet and I found some documents. The documents are like a puzzle. I'm missing pieces of it. But I need to get out of here with no one noticing. I was a mess and covered in blood. Now I head back to my dorm so, I can figure out the puzzle.

Jackson's POV

As I left to Tyler's dorm, I don't know what it is but something is off. I knock on Tyler's door and it opened with Tyler standing there.
  "Hey, buddy how are doing?"I asked.
"I'm fine, just fine" he said.
" I bumped into Isabelle on the way here. You guys ok?"
"I guess, I don't know. It was just misunderstanding" he explained.
"Ok, you need anything before I go check on Isabelle."
"No thanks" he said.
"Ok, feel better buddy" I said and walked away.
I hope they're ok. They seem off today. Also, one of these days I was finally going to tell Isabelle how I feel about her. I had a huge crush on her since the day we first met.

~~~Flashback~~~

It was my senior year in highschool. I was a new student in Western Senior Highschool. I was walking into the building and bumped into someone. I look up to see the most beautiful girl I ever seen.
"Are you ok?" She asked concerned. I stare in her beautiful eyes.
"Yes, I'm fine"I say picking up my books. She bend down to help me.
"Thank you"
"No problem. Wait, your new here right?" She asked.
"Yes, that's right" I said.
"Do you need help?" She questioned. I can feel my face heat up.
"Yes" I say. I have her my schedule.
"We have all the same classes together." She explained.
"Oh, that's great"
"I'm Isabelle by the way." She said.
"Jackson" I say shaking g her hand. Then I knew I liked her. I'm going to love this school.

Isabelle's POV

I quickly sprinted to my dorm room. I opened my door, threw the documents on my bed, and ran towards the bathroom. I jump in the sho and quickly clean myself up because my roommate Vanessa will be arriving at any moment. I turn off the water and get changed. I hear the room door open and I hear footsteps. I walk out of the bathroom and see Vanessa setting up to do some homework. Vanessa looks up from her homework and catches my eyes.
"Hey, Isabelle" Vanessa said.
"Hi Vanessa"
"How are you doing?" She asked.
"I'm good"
"Isabelle, I have a question."
"Sure, ask away." I said.
She holds up the documents I found in the library.
"What is this?" Vanessa asked with a curious glare. I look at her and spoke.
"They are for a project I'm doing" I explained.
"I feel like you're lying to me"
"Why would I lie to you, Vanessa?"
"I can scents your lying, Isabelle."
I look at her and think. What do I tell her? I can't tell her the truth. Can I?
"I'm not lying. What males you think that?"
"I know you Isabelle. I can tell when you're lying. Don't hide any secrets from me" Vanessa said, her ton angry.
"Don't hide any secrets, Isabelle. I know you're lying" Vanessa said angrily.
"Fine, I found them in the library. Also, I'm a vampire Hunter."
"I've been your friends for 4 years and you kept this secret. Why hide it? You know my secret!" She said her voice raising.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want anyone to know."
"I trusted you with my secret. You should trust me with yours!"
Before I knew it Vanessa exploded and changed into a werewolf. I know I'm in trouble now.
"Vanessa, calm down. I'm sorry, ok?" I say, trying to calm her down. Vanessa only growls back.
"Vanessa, I'm sorry, okay? I didn't want anyone to know because I didn't want to lose anyone!" I yelled. Then I realized I raised my voice at her. Vanessa was shocked. I never raise my voice at her. She changed back into herself. She wipes the tears off my face. I didn't realize I was crying.
"I'm sorry Isabelle. I let my anger get the best of me." She hugged me and I hugged her back.
"You won't lose anyone because of your secret. Especially, Tyler. He loves you for who you are." She explained. Now I regret not telling Vanessa my secret.
"Jackson won't leave you either. He's your best friend."
"Okay, I think I can tell them."
Isabelle said as she wipes her face.
"Jackson said he will be here after he sees Tyler. I will can tell him when he get here."
"Okay" Vanessa said.
We hear a knock at the door. I go to get it. I open it and see Jackson. Then everything went black.
