Internal Love

Chapter 7

  My best friend, my lifesaver, my companion, and my boyfriend is my enemy, but he doesn't know that. he doesn't know my secret, but the vampires do. I can tell Tyler was shocked and confused.

"You're one of us." he smiles.

" What are you?" he questioned. The vampire smiles showing his fangs. Tyler's eye widen.

"Your....Y-Your a vampire" he studdered.

"I'm glad we're on the same page now," he said laughing.

"You know, your girlfriend here is our enemy," he explained.

"What are you talking about?" he asked looking confused.

"Oh, she didn't tell you. Did she?"

Tyler looks at me confused and curious.

"Tell me what, Isabelle?" he asked.

"It's not important right now," I said. The vampire laughed.

"Darling, it is important. Why keep it a secret from your friends. Most importantly, your boyfriend," he said.

" Your keeping secrets from me?" Tyler asked. He was getting angry.

" Tyler, calm down. I have a reason for not telling you," I explained.

"What is the reason, Isabelle?" Tyler asked.

"We have to save Jackson, I promise to tell you later."

"Fine" Tyler replied. The vampire smiled.

"We would love to stay and chat. but we have to go," the vampire said and all of the vampires disappeared. I ran towards Jackson.

"Jackson, Are you alright?" I ask as I check for bites.

"I'm fine. They only slammed me against the wall," he explained.

"Oh, thank goodness," I say as I sign in relief.

"Isabelle, about that secret," Tyler said.

"Let's not talk here. Come to my dorm." I say as I lead them to my dorm. I open the door and went inside with them. I've never been so nervous. We sit down.

"What is this secret your keeping from me?" Tyler asked.

"Well, Tyler first should know what you are," I explain. 

"What does that got to do with your secret?" Tyler asked.

"It's related to it," I said.

"Okay, what am I then?" Tyler asked with a curious glare. Jackson was confused himself.

"Tyler. they were vampires and you were bitten by one," I explained.

" So, I'm a vampire?" he asked and I nod. Jackson is speechless.

"So, how is this related to your secret? " he asked.

"Tyler. there is a reason why I'm their enemy," I say.

"What is that reason?" he asked. It was silent for a few moments. Tyler and Jackson are waiting for a response. I take a deep breath and finally speak.

"Tyler, I'm a vampire hunter."
