Our First Encounter

Sweet

Recap: "Just taking off your seatbelt... I didn't say take that off yet, put it back on." He said and I let a sigh of relief come out. He unbuckled my seat belt, then his and walked out of the car. Dang it, I should've snuck a peak when I took the mask off. Nathan opened my door and grabbed my wrist to help me get out of the car. I'm definitely not capable of getting out of a car by myself, I thought. Then again, it's sort of sweet. We walked what felt like a mile before he whispered, 'Take it off now' in my ear. I slowly took the blind fold off and my mouth opened wide in amazement and my eyes glared with happiness. Wow! This looks like so much fun. It was a really big amusement park. We've never been to a amusement park this amazing!

"Wow, this looks awesome." I said and Nathan had a wide smile across his face. Then he grabbed my hand to go to the entrance gate.

Even over the gate and trees and such, I could see the bright lights from all the rides. The main ride I saw poking out was the Ferris wheel. I looked at all the lights and smiled as we approached the entrance. There was a middle age woman there and she was scribbling something down on a sheet of paper. I guess she heard Nathan and I approaching, because her head shot up with a sweet, welcoming smile.

"Hello, and welcome. You look like really sweet boys...-" she said and we smiled in her direction. I glanced at the board beside us and showed Nathan.

Ages 5 and younger (free)
Ages 6-17 ($15)
Ages 18 and older ($30)

Nathan lowered his head to me and whispered into my ear.

"I should say you're five." And I playfully shoved him in his leg. He laughed and turned to the lady.

"Two tickets for $15... We're 17 and 15." He stated. Simplifying the age. Wow. Smart, but... This liar. He paid the lady thirty bucks and she wrapped bracelets around our wrists. We passed her length of hearing and I started laughing and we joined hands again.

"What's so funny?" He said in pure confusion. This guy has to be slow or something, he totally scammed her.

"You said you were 17 and slipped passed... Paying $15 bucks less." He looked at me and then let go of my hand for a second. I looked at him in confusion, what the heck?

"Oh snap, I totally forgot. We should go b-" I grabbed his arm, this idiot. We walked back to the carnival and he kept insisting on paying back. Until we saw the roller coasters close up, wow! They look like so much fun. Nathan put his hand in mine and we ran unto the first roller coaster, which was the Ferris wheel. We walked over and the line was pretty short, so we stood there for about two minutes before it was our turn to get on. Luckily I'm tall enough. Kidding, that was a joke... I'm not that short. There was an older guy standing at the entrance and he asked to see out brackets, so we showed him them and stepped up. We walked into a blue chair type thing and sat. We sat besides each other and there were other people getting into her seats.

"Are you having fun?" Nathan asked, looking up at my face. We just got here... I can't say whether I'm having fun yet. I means, seriously? Jeez... The ride didn't even start yet.

"Yes, this is fun." I said and Nathan's smile grew. The ride started going and Nathan began shaking the seat. We were getting so high in the air and I was beginning to get scared, Nathan shaking the chair wasn't helping. I looked down and all the cars looked like toy cars and I almost laughed at the sight of it. It was still scary being so high, I mean... What if this thing just broke and we fell. Then we kept falling and falling, the ground kept getting closer and-

"N... Nathan?" I said looking up at him with worry in my eyes.

"Yeah, what is it?" He said and he stopped shaking the seat, which I'm grateful for. He got a little closer and he looked at me waiting for a response.

"Can you hold me, please?" I asked turning red. Nathan scooted over and I laid my head in his lap. The ride starting going down more and the colors went from green and purple to red and blue. The ride stopped and we were at the bottom again, jeez... Never knew a Farris wheel could be so scary. That was really high though.

"Let's get on another." Nathan said taking his hand into mine with a wide smile. We went on many more rides and got cotton candy. I'm not big on sweets, but Nathan seemed to like it a lot so I got one too. It wasn't so bad, just... Extremely sweet. The rides were a lot of fun, but after the gravatron... I felt like I was about to puke. That ride is crazy, it's a killer on the head. People probably lose brain cells in there.

-On their way to leave the amusement park-

We kept walking and Nathan stopped really quick and took both of my hands into his.

"So... Did you enjoy yourself?" He asked casually with a smile. I looked up at him and stepped closer. I got onto my tippy toes and brought Nathan into a deep kiss, of course... This was amazing. He got closer and I could feel his-... Through his pants and I stepped back a little out of shock and embarrassment. Oh my gosh... He's getting hard?! I mentally face palmed myself and got ready to answer his question.

"Of course, this was amazing. I'm glad you took me here." I said and we began walking towards the car again. I heard him whisper, 'I'm glad too'... I don't think he said it for me to hear though, so I just ignored it. We sat into the car and kissed once more before driving off back towards the house. We played loud music and it was really fun, I sang the whole time. I asked Nathan, but he refused. I bet he can sing really well, he's just totally hiding it. This was a great day, I'm glad I got to spend it with him. I  think that maybe... Maybe I'm falling in love with him. He's such a great guy and throughout this whole year, he proved hisself to being able to be an even greater guy.

-Back at the house-

(Nathan's room)

I walked into his room and we sat on the bed facing each other. Nathan looked up at me with his nice brown eyes and frowned a little. I looked at him with concern and he hugged be tightly. He caught me out of surprise because I almost fell onto the floor.

"I'm going to miss you, I really am. I'm going to visit and... You'll come see me too, right? I don't want to be away from you for even a day. I love you too much." He said and a tear escaped my eye. Jeez, I love him so much. I hugged him back and a tear escaped my eye. Of course I'll visit, he's my boyfriend... My favorite person, he's... He's my person.

"Yeah, I'll come over all the time. I love you so much." I said back. Jeez... It took a lot to say that. I'm not really big into saying that I love someone. I mean, I've never loved anyone the way I love Nathan. Even after this year of knowing him, it's like we just met yesterday. We finally untangled from each other and played some games together. I'm not big into playing games, but Nathan sure is. After all these days with him... It sure is clear to me now that I really love him... That I never want to lose him.
