Author's note
Wow the last time I posted was in 2016?? Somehow Mumford came back from a hiatus and basically jumped on another one in that time... respect the process I guess.
Anyway! I'm an actual piece of human garbage and got too weirded out from my own story to continue publishing it for a hot minute.. and by minute and mean uhhh 2 years? Almost three? Can I count? By "weirded out" I mean they're real people and writing this type of thing makes me feel like a grade-A jerk, ok. But every once in a while I feel small enough in the world that I think I can get away with it and that they'll never see it. One can hope!
Anyway a lot has changed for me while staying exactly the same. This story is kind of my safe space and a reflection of my thoughts in some ways, so sometimes it's nice to keep it private. Someone commented on one of my chapters the other day and I was hashtag shooketh so I'm gonna try to post more, for you guys!
I'm an actual old man (to clarify I'm definitely not but) so I write this story in the notes app on my very old iPod touch and sometimes on the wattpad app on my phone so the story is in bits and pieces spread apart from my mind, intentions, phone, and iPod. I like to write at night and on long car trips.
Also!!! All of this really doesn't matter and you guys don't care about that I know, you want the goods! You want the nitty gritty! You want some interesting musical romance by a gal who has clearly never experienced any of the sort, but you're in luck! If you like this kind of thing, alas, it is summer and my schedule is more open towards cranking some chapters out! I've got into the bad habit of writing exciting parts and skipping the chronological, linear part of story writing, so you'll have to excuse me for a little bit more until i structure this puppy up bit. And charge my iPod. (But honestly the story is kind of set at two different times anyway so who can blame me).
But I'm sorry!!! And thanks if you actually read this rambly mess of an author's note. And a double thanks if you got notified I updated this and was hyped?! But I'm sorry again, that this isn't a real update, and that I've made no intention on indenting any of these paragraphs. Sorry! Sorry and thanks, more to come if homies can stay being homies haha
