Me's pov
I was sleeping in my bed until my alarm rang and I smacked it with my hand and was yawning. Went to shower, then put on my clothes and was making breakfast for me and the Crystal Gems. When they came in, they started to smell.
Pearl:"What is that amazing scent?" She asked, curious and amazed.
Me:"Just making breakfast." I answered her question.
Lapis:"What's breakfast?" She asked, wondering.
Me:"In the early morning, you have to eat something for breakfast, in the noon or afternoon, you eat for lunch, in night, you eat something for dinner. For breakfast, you'll have to eat pancakes, bacons, and biscuits." I explained it to them.
Amnesty:"You mean like that?" She asked.
Me:"Yep." I said.
Pearl:"How can you 'eat'?" She asked, again.
Me:"Easy, when something is big like the pancakes, you hold the fork, then use the knife to make a smaller piece to eat, after that, you opened your mouth and put it inside, then close it, chew. after chewing, you swallow it to your throat." Finished explaining it to them and showed how. When I was done they did the same thing and I could tell they were enjoying the taste in their mouth. When we were done eating, I put up the dishes and washed them. Then someone was banging on my door. When I come to the door, I opened and it revealed a scared Lars.
Lars:"You! Do something, Vilgax's here and I don't to die!" He said and there were panic in his eyes.
Me:"Relaxed, Lars. Me and the Crystal Gems will stop Vilgax." I said, calm. "Let's go, we got a planet to save." I said and they followed my lead. When I saw Vilgax's soldiers on the beach, I transformed into Diamondhead and shoot at my enemies, they fired back but their lasers were useless against me and I charged at them, slice and dice, the Gems made it in time and were fighting against them until Vilgax came and was standing, holding his sword, smiling.
Vilgax:"I challenge Rose Quartz in a sword fight." He said without hesitation and Rose was going to accept his challenge.
RQ:"I accept your challenge." She said without any hesitations. Vilgax then charged at Rose and he was going to slash but Rose use her shield and hit Vilgax and tried to stab him, but Rose isn't the only one with a shield. Vilgax and Rose been sword fighting predicting their moves but one thing Rose didn't predict, was a gun at the belly where her gem is. Vilgax took the shot and Rose Quartz fall back to the ground and tried to fix her gem by healing, but didn't work. We were all shocked, couldn't believe she was dying. Vilgax was laughing, he defeated Rose Quartz.
Vilgax:"My work is done. See you tomorrow, Zachary." He said and disappeared. We all ran to her body, having her last breath.
RQ:"Looks like...I'm dying." She said. "Zachary, you will...lead the Crystal Gems and protect Earth and...teach them." She said. I nodded my head. Then she closed her eyes and she was fading, like she didn't exist anymore. Pearl was crying, couldn't believe her teacher died. This is all my fault. I let the soldier live and she's dead because of my decision. I could feel the guilt, the sadness, and depression. But I knew that's not what she wanted, she wanted us to move on and carry on her legacy.
