~~two months later,~~

Apparently,there is a black hood. It wasn't a joke. Because Jason Blossom died,but that wasn't that black hood.

And two other people,who were basically innocent,are dead.

Sweetpea and I haven't talked. And me and Hayden were getting close but also distant. He still was cut up from sweetpea,but it wasn't that bad. He would barely open up or even talk to me mostly. Melissa had got a boyfriend,named brennen. And he was not a serpent. He was a north sider and he was very close to Melissa already. Her top five friends.

And I was her second.

Hayden was her first but they haven't texted,or speaked since there own fight about love. I didn't really notice,I was singing to my playlist.

I was at the serpent hangout for the first. I wanted to become a serpent,but I didn't know what I wanted. Me and sweetpea are still together technically because he hasn't broke up with me and neither have I. Toni and I got super close. I know Toni is bi,but she swears she loves Cheryl. And I accept that.

''Hey K!''Toni squeaked and ran over,hugging me as I hugged back,smiling.

''Hey can we go talk about serpents? I may wanna fully be one.''I asked as she nodded and I sat with her on the couch,fangs and Jughead were with sweetpea at the bar.

''You have to do a really stupid pole dance. {{ IM NOT WRITING THAT SO WHENEVER IT DOES HAPPEN IM SKIPPING IT}}.''Toni said as I nodded a bit,

I didn't know if I could do that. But whatever.

''How's sweetpea?''i had to ask.

''not very good. he's been depressed,drinking a lot,not talking to us a lot.''toni sighed.

''I'm gonna talk to him.''i whispered as she nodded and called him as the three boys walked over and sat.

''I'm gonna take sweetpea,sorry.''i told them as sweetpea hesitated and then came with me to the empty room and I shut the door.

''why'd you kiss him?''he instantly asked.

''I don't know..--''i whispered.

''do you still love me?''he asked quietly.

''of course!''i looked up at him,grabbing his hands.

''but do you like Hayden or me more?''he asked and let go of my hands.

''you. I love you,sweetpea, we were just in the moment and it meant nothing,''I told him,promising.

If only I knew I was lieing to myself deep down.

''Okay. I love you too.''He grabbed my hands as I smiled.

I kissed him and he kissed back. I felt a small tingle which was good. We walked back out.

''we made up.''I smiled as they all smiled.

''made out.''sweetpea whispered to me as I glared at him and he laughed.

''I'm gonna go meet Betty. Cya.''Jughead waved and left,

''I'm gonna go home. I'm tired.''Fangs waved and left too.

''I guess I'm gonna go see Cheryl. Cya guys.''Toni left too.

''We can go back to my place?''Sweetpea suggested as I nodded after a moment.

We made it there and just watched Netflix together,I rested my head on his shoulder and ended up falling asleep.

I yawned and walked downstairs,Melissa on her phone.

''Hey lissa.''i sat beside her,as she looked up and gave a fake smile and just looked back down at her phone,

''look I'm really sorry.''i sighed as she shut off her phone and looked at me.

''I forgive you. It's my fault too and we were being idiots,''she nodded as I nodded.

We were talking for a few minutes,laughing and joking on the couch.

''Oh my god--''She froze as I looked over.

''What?''I took her phone and looked to see on Snapchat there was sweetpea and kelsey together,snuggling as she was kissing his cheek. He had the caption,

I gave Melissa her phone back,staring at my hands.

Did all the times I told her everything,and kissed her,opening up to her,mean NOTHING?

''Hayden I'm so sorry.''Melissa whispered and put her hand on mine and I looked at her.

''its fine.''i nodded,giving a small smile to know she cared.

''we could always make her jealous.''she whispered,after texting Brennen.

''that wouldn't work.''i shook my head as she nodded,

''brennen said to do it. Do you wanna? It's okay if not.''Melissa said.

''alright. Let's mess with her.''She grinned.

I woke beside sweetpea,it was morning and I looked at my phone. I went on Snapchat because I had notifications.

Hayden actually posted?

I looked at it and immedently froze.

It was Hayden and Melissa watching Netflix,Hayden nuzzled up close to her and she was playing with his hair and he pecked her on the lips.

I was mad. Jealous. I didn't know why. My best friend with my guy friend?

Was this because I am with sweetpea now?

I looked on instagram quickly,and saw Melissa post.

I gulped and sweetpea was asleep still. I got up quietly and locked myself in his bathroom and called Melissa,

M- Heyy kk!

K- cut the bullshit,Melissa. You and Hayden are dating?

M- yeah! we've been dating for a week so far. I love him so much.

K- you never bothered to ask me?

M- I didn't think you would mind! you're dating sweetpea. you never asked Hayden so I thought it was fine.

K- Melissa,we were friends!

M- I know,we still are!

K- no. I can't. I'm becoming a serpent. I'm not coming back.

M- what?!

K- you literally know I love sweetpea,why can't you accept that!

Lissa has hung up;

I opened the door to see sweetpea.

'so Melissa and Hayden,huh?''He asked.

''Yeah. I don't know what to do,babe.''I sighed as he kissed me.

''you don't have to know. You're with me now.''I smiled.
