Chapter 4: Breaking Point

Your blue eye flashes as Cardin draws his mace, "Prepare to lose, bonehead." he mocked.
"Don't count on it." you mock him.
Cardin prepares to attack you with his mace, but you teleport away. "What?" you ask him, "You really thought I was just gonna stand there and take it?"
He growled and prepared to attack you again. You summon a bone attack, which hits hit 80% of the time. Turning his soul blue, you proceeded to throw him around the arena. You eventually heard Papyrus yell, "SANS! STOP!"
He ran to you and restrained you, "Paps, get off me!"
"NO, SANS," he said, "I CAN'T LET YOU BECOME THE BULLY!"
"I'm not the bully," you tell him, "I'm teaching the bully a lesson."
At that moment, Cardin swung his mace and knocked Papyrus's head clean off. His head rolled as his body dropped. "No... PAPYRUS!" you yell, running to his head.
"I... I'M SORRY, SANS..." he apologised, "I LET YOU DOWN... BUT... I KNOW YOU CAN DO BETTER... EVEN IF YOU DON'T THINK SO... GOODBYE, BROTHER..."
Papyrus's head faded into dust.

Everyone stopped. You looked down at your dust covered hands. Your eye glowed with an unseen rage. "Tell me something, Cardin," you growl, "Why kill Papyrus?"
"Simple: He was taking up space!" Cardin spat.
You turned his soul blue, raised him, and put bones underneath him. "It's a beautiful day outside," you say, "Birds are singing, flowers are blooming. On days like this, kids like you... SHOULD BE BURNING IN HELL!"
You let him fall. The bones impaled him. The deed was done. But, you still felt empty. SO you clicked your fingers, and he appeared again, alive and well. As you unleashed a flurry of attacks, you sang to calm yourself down.

Eventually, Cardin yelled, "STOP! PLEASE!"
"You killed Papyrus," you say, grabbing his throat, "People like you DON'T DESERVE MY MERCY!"
"Go to hell, then." Cardin gasped.
"You know nothing of hell!" you tell him, "Besides, where do you think I come from?"
You snapped his neck, and his lifeless body fell to the floor. You looked at the audience, and teleported away back to your dorm room. You packed your stuff and began to leave. Looking at a picture of you and Papyrus as baby-bones, you started to cry. Eventually, there was a knock at your door, and a voice said, "Sans? Are you there?"
Great, you think, Just when I thought life couldn't get any worse.

(A/N: That last line is an If Undertale Was Realistic reference, in case you didn't know.)
