When a simple farmer's daughter, Marina, marries a rich nobleman she believes she got it all. Silks, gowns, and diamonds it's all hers...well except for her husband's love. As Marina's attempts to grow closer to her husband fail she doubts whether t...
Marina was lead into a ship's cellar. It was a modest room covered in a faint orange hue of the ceiling lantern acting as the only source of illumination, along with a narrow window located on the topmost part of the cellar. Despite the dull appearance of the cellar, its contents were far from simple, shelves of age-old wines tightly packed on every wall, an assortment of dried fruits layered on on itself in a colourful scatter while numerous barrels and sacks were stacked to the ceiling, towering over the rest of the room. Marina's breathing was burdened by the damp air that gave off a smell of a musty oak wood.
Marina took notice of the man's awkward movements, it was evident that his stout figure prevented him from moving both quietly and comfortably. The wood beneath the man finally betrayed him as a faint creak escaped into the cellar, as he approached Marina and whispered.
"This is where you're going to stay, and don't you dare touch none of these things. Don't make a sound either if someone realizes you're here, we're both perished."
"What am I going to eat then?'
"I'll bring you a morsel, as soon as the sun disappears into the sea."
"How about a.... water closet?"
"Ughhh look for an empty bucket somewhere, you mouthy vixen. I need to leave quickly, I am the orderly here if I am not seen, I will be searched for."
When Marina was left to solitude, she huddled in the most comfortable corner of the cellar. Filled with thrill and excitement the thought of sleep was impossible, as she gathered a few sacks and mounted on top of them to observe the scene taking place outside the window. Gleams of sun danced erratically on the sea waves as dozens of ships sailed into the lands Marina had only read about.

Dafne paced the garden, worry painted her face as she circled around the rose bush in a continues loop. The sound of horse gallops thundered in the garden, as soon as Dafne saw Ayers striding towards her, she quickly straightened her posture and placed a confident face expression onto her blanched visage.
