Marina's perception of time and place escaped her grasp. Forcing her to awake a blanket of distinctive buzzing enveloped Marina's head. The weight of Marina's eyelids fought against her intention to examine her current surroundings; however, the young woman's curiosity proved to be stronger as her eyelids began to gradually open. Marina realized that it would take a while for her to examine her environment due to a heavy blur that her vision currently possessed. Nevertheless, Marina managed to discern messy strands of ginger locks that blended into streams of sunshine which engulfed Marina's whole periphery of vision and stung at her skin.
"You awake? Lady come on open your eyes!"
"Daffie...what? Where am I?"
Marina's weak voice pronounced.
"Lady I am not...a Daffie, and you're in a place that a lady like you least desires to be."
As coherence began to veil Marina's comprehension she realized that the voice talking to her was far too coy and poignant to belong to Daffie. When Marina's eyesight regained clarity she managed to observe that the ginger woman may have resembled Daffie on a general glance; however, unlike Daffie the woman's features possessed the boldness which emphasized her presence.
"You're not Daffie...'
Marina said feebly.
The woman directed a dry order at Marina.
"Lady please stop staring at me."
"Apologies, but I have no recollection of how I got here..."
Soon enough memories of the manor, the Baron, the ship, the cellar, and of the strange shadowy figure began to acknowledge their presence in Marina's memory.
"It's the "Siren's Smite" working its way out of your body, that's the powder Riff used on you to get you out of that cellar."
"Siren's...what? What's that?"
"It's quite a long story. I might tell it some other time."
"Why did they do this to me?'
"Isn't it obvious? A lady of your stature..on that ship?"
"I am guessing this...Riff found a way to benefit himself "
"Naive but maybe a little smart"
The ginger remarked with a smirk.
"Naive is the least harsh of what I can describe myself by."
Marina began to relive the memories of the actions that lead her to this moment as she whispered to herself.
"Why would you think this could ever work? The Baron was right you're a child, a stupid child."
"Lady...just stop, I am not your servant. I will not pat you on the back after each episode of self pity you produce. Now get up and put that on"
The ginger woman spat out while gesturing at a simple brown gown harshly thrown beneath the bed that Marina layed on. Realizing that she wore nothing but a chemise and a pair of stockings, Marina exclaimed.
'My clothes? My jeweler? You even took my shoes?!"
"Stop asking questions I don't want to answer and be grateful that Riff had the decency to keep your undergarments on you."
Grabbing the dress the woman shovess it into Marina's hands. With irritation painted across the women's bold yet bautiful features as she instructed.
'Now put it on and come out to the deck and start pestering the person who is responsible for you being here. "
"I don't even know where I am, how do I find the deck"
"This ship is isn't that big, just open the door and that's the deck, you'll manage.Be quick or I'll ask Argos to drag you up, and he isn't as patient nor gentle as I am."
"I wouldn't describe you as gentle."
Marina hissed as the ginger waltzed out of the room.
When left alone Marina decided to take advantage of her short timed solitude. Marina bolted out of the bed and began to examine her surroundings.

So yeah, that's pretty much it for this part. I apologize for this part being extremely short and extremely messy . I will probably edit this part, but I felt a strong desire to come back to writing this story after abandoning it a while ago. I couldn't wait to finally begin to continuing Marina's journey, so I decided to sacrifice some of the content quality just so that I could realease this faster. Also, I am an extreme procrastinator so I thought publishing this as soon as possible would get me back on track. So yeah, wish me luck...all four of you ;).
