"Static!" A voice cut through the shadows.
"Ren..." Wiley mumbled, not surprised in the slightest. His daughter had tried to tag along many times before.
"Can you feel it?" Ren asked the dark storeroom, unable to see her father and his companions, "We can rescue Felix!"
"Ren," Ignis sighed, "You know that's impossible,"
"We have to try! For Jenny, Ignis! Please. Just help me try,"
"Jenny's not our friend anymore," Wiley told her.
"Please. Please!"
"They're right, Ren," Static spoke up, "It's not like we haven't tried,"
"But never like this!" She protested, "It's been so long since we've seen Jenny, and now we're fighting against her!"
"We don't have a choice," Static replied, "And we can't just leave Atlas," Ren had forgotten that Toby was controlling her friend.
"I guess so,"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So, what do we do when we find them?" Ana asked.
"Well, we fight them," Kai suggested, "Stop the robbery,"
"Sounds like a plan," Lloyd nodded.
"Mmm," Jenny trailed her fingers along the wall. Cole nudged her.
"Sparks," he whispered. She hastily stuffed her hands into her pockets.
"The storeroom is the next door on the left," Zane informed the group.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Jenny!" Ren squealed as the ninja group pushed open the door. Unlike the other members of the Animal Kingdom, she rushed towards her friend, hugging the girl tightly.
"Ren!" Jenny grinned, but her smile quickly faded. "We're on opposite sides,"
"Not right now, we're not," Ren let go of her, "Toby's controlling Atlas,"
"Static? Ignis? Wiley? Is this true?"
"Does the sun rise each day?" Wiley laughed, "Would Ren lie to you?"
"Well, I guess you all know each other, but I feel as though we need some formal introductions," Jenny smiled. "Guys, this is Static, second in command to Toby and welder of the Lightning Stone, Wiley, father of Ren and respected general and Ignis, the world's most polite captor,"
"You share my element," Jay approached Static, somewhat warily.
"You can trust them," Jenny told him, "We'll be able to tell when they're being controlled again,"
"We have to stop Atlas," Kai commented.
"Go stop her then," Cole replied.
"You're not coming!?"
"We have a chance here, Kai," Cole gestured towards Static and the others, "We can learn about what they are planning to do,"
"I guess," Kai shrugged, "I'm going to find her. Atlas, I mean. I'll be back,"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Got to get that stone," Atlas panted, sprinting along the roof for the millionth time. She stopped, shaking her head. Everything seemed so hazy, like a dream. "Got to get that stone,"
AN- And there you have it! The long overdue chapter. Sorry, guys. On another note, I have a favour to ask. You see, my good friend of the Miraculous Ladybug fandom, Luigispotson67, is writing her second story, which I am going to be helping with. If you could check her out, that would be great! Until next time, Lovely Humans,
