"Kai..." Jenny glanced at the boy, holding up her hand to halt Gala, who she was having a training match with.
"Sorry," he mumbled, pulling himself back onto the bench.
"When I said you could watch, I did mean watch, not sneak off the bench and train," Jenny grinned, "A day off training is not that bad,"
"I didn't think you were watching,"
"Maybe I wasn't," she laughed, turning back to Gala.
"Again?" The shy girl's words were barely audible.
"Again!" Jenny nodded.
On the other side of the room, Nya and Jay were training.
"Jay! You're holding back on me again," Nya complained.
"Sorry,"
"Don't be sorry, train harder!" she glared at him, "Come on, again!"
Next to them, Cole was teaching Kyle spinjitsu, without much success.
"No, you have to kick, not jump!" Cole told his brother impatiently, demonstrating what he meant. Kyle rolled his eyes.
"Have you ever successfully taught anyone to do this?" He asked.
"Uh, no," Cole admitted, "But it can't be that hard, Jenny taught Ana and Cristal, and I think Gala as well,"
"Then why isn't she teaching me?"
"Good question," Cole shrugged, "Jenny!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey, you okay?" Gala asked Kai as he walked in. After Jenny had joined Cole in teaching Kyle spinjitsu, she'd left to go finish a costume she had been working on for Sam.
"Yeah," He nodded, wincing as he put weight on his ankle, "Sorta." Taking a seat next to her at the table, he changed the subject, "Whatcha working on?"
"A costume for Sam," She replied, "I'll get Lloyd to take it to her tomorrow,"
"Can I help?"
"Can you sew?" Gala looked at him, her eyes searching him.
"Err, no..." Kai flushed red, "But I'm sure it's not hard to learn?"
"Well, there's no better time than the present,"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"And jump!" Jenny instructed.
"What is the point of this?" Cole asked, "All it is is twist, kick, jump, punch, over and over,"
"You've forgotten," Jenny rolled her eyes, "I'm sure it's all you did for months before you found the Golden Weapons,"
"Oh, right," Cole nodded, "But surely there's a quicker way? It takes ages..."
"Nope," Ana said cheerfully, walking up behind him, "It how Jenny taught me and Cristal, and it doesn't take that long! Just a lot of hard work," Jenny nodded.
"I do remember the hard work part," Cole smiled, rubbing the back off his neck as he recalled the hours of training.
AN - Yay, a pointless filler chapter. Sorry... I promise the next one will be better... Until next time, Lovely Humans,
