We both jolted our heads in the direction that the scream came from. "Tsu!" I screamed. I ran towrds the forest, not trying to think of what could be happening to her. I ran, I didn't even think about flying. She screamed again this time it sounded closer; but before I could get to her, I stepped on something that snapped beneath my foot. I tripped and smacked my face into the ground. When I looked back up to see that the thing I had tripped over, was a skeleton.
I stared at it. Horrified. I wanted to scream, I opened my beak but no sound would come out. As I got up to run, I tripped over another, I opened my wings and flew a few feet above the ground before I realized. My foot was chained to the ground. I landed and looked at the chain surrounding my foot. I bent down and took the chain in my mouth. I snapped my jaws down on them. This sent excruciating pain coursing through my mouth and through my head. I gnawed on the chain for a little bit before giving up. I slumped onto the ground. I didn't know if I was doing to die here or not. I decided to sleep since I was exausted. Not really thinking about what could be out there.
I woke up to a bright light. I slowly opened my eyes. To see a Kirlia melting the chains with her psychic powers. "Fi...?" I muttered. She finished melting my chains. It was a few links away from the cuff on my foot. "Th-Thanks..." She just looked down and started to walk off. "Wait!" I yelled, catching her attention. "I'm sorry about earlier... I get really protective over my teammates when ever someone stands in between me and them." She turned back towards me and I saw the effects of me lashing out at her. Four long red marks along her chest and stomach. "...I guess it's okay... but these arn't going to heal..." I looked away from her I couldn't stand to see her like this. "I... I-" Before I could finish I was cut off by another scream.
I instantly ran off in the direction of it. "Hey! Wait!" Fi yelled after me. I burst out of some bushes into a clearing. I looked around quickly so see what was going on. I found the source of the screams. An Umbreon was hung by her left leg from a tree branch. "TSU!" I yelled and ran to her. She was unconcious.I cut the rope that was holding her up and caught her with my wings. I carefully placed her on the ground. Her adventure bag was gone. I stared at her limp body on the ground, watching as her chest slowly rose and fell; showing that there was still life within her. I felt a presence behind me, I turned around to find Fi, levitating with her psychic powers. She floated over to me. I looked back at Tsu. "Let me handle this." I backed up a little to give the Kirlia a bit of space to work. A ball of green energy filled her hand, once it grew to about the size of an Oran berry she slowly placed the ball onto Tsu's forehead. The ball dissolved into her forehead. The Umbreon began to stir. "That's all I can do for now." Tsu began to open her eyes. Once she saw me she hopped up and ran to me. "Oh my Arceus! Chrome! I thought you were dead!" I smiled. "I would have been if it wern't for Fi here." Fi smiled beside me. Tsu smiled back. But one thing still lingered in my mind. "Hey Tsu... Where's Sai?" Tsu's smile was gone instantly. "Chrome... Sai dissapeared..."
