The guilt of putting Taehyung in the hospital had consumed you, so with Jungkook's company. You kept the injured male company for the entire weekend.

Although he was asleep most of the time, you and Jungkook found ways to keep yourselves entertained by having normal conversations. Something that you never thought would be possible with the red haired boy.

It gave you the feeling of a normal life.

The moment the last bell rang, you found yourself walking with Jin and Jungkook towards the hospital that Taehyung had been confined in. He was given the go signal by the doctor to go home. You all agreed that you would pick him up and since Jin and Taehyung lived in the same dorm, you and Jungkook would escort them.

Almost everyone in the school had grown used to the sight of Jungkook following you almost wherever you would go.

"Hey, Jungkook?" You looked up from the magazine that you found in one of the hospital's racks.

"Hmm?" He looked up from his phone.

"Ever heard of the song 'Mary Had a Little Lamb'?" He gave you a quizzical look and you couldn't help but feel the smile threatening to tug at your lips.

"Have you heard of it's modern version?" He shook his head noc "'(Y/N) has a Little Bunny'." This time, it had been him who rolled his eyes before going back to scrolling back on his phone.

"Wish that you had at least told me and Jimin that Taehyung was at the hospital." Jin grumbled as the three of you walked towards Taehyung's room.

"It slipped my mind," You admit, "I also didn't have your number." Jin's lips shaped into an 'o'.

The moment that you and Jungkook had informed the two, they looked like they were going to have a heart attack of some sort and nearly rushed out the classroom without knowing where the boy was confined.

Jungkook had pushed the door open to reveal Taehyung who had been focused on the TV. The moment that his eyes found their way towards where the three of you were standing, he nearly stood from his bed.

"You're all finally here!" You couldn't help but smile at his excitement. The nurse who had been checking his vitals politely bowed to the three of you.

"Taehyung, you idiot!" Jin began to scold the blonde, "You have no idea how worried we were." Taehyung pouted and looked towards you as if asking for help.

"Give him a break, Jin." His expression softened, "You can scold him when he gets discharged." Taehyung winced at your words and you chuckled softly.

"That doesn't make things any better, (Y/N)."

"You can't delay retribution, Taehyung." He rolls your eyes at your words before the nurse had called his attention.

He was ready to be discharged, and the company had decided to pay for all his bills. The nurse at the front desk had informed you all that a generous benefactor had released Taehyung from his debt.

"Hey, Tae." The four of you were in a cab riding back to their dorm. The dorm was near the school and your place but far from the hospital. So walking was not an option.

"Yeah?"

"I don't know if it's too soon to ask," you bit your lips as you thought of the words to say, "But do you remember who threw the knife at you? Or at least what he had looked like?"

It wasn't that you wanted to further stress out the newly discharged boy, but you figured it would be better to ask now than later. He could forget important details and you didn't want to take that risk.
