7. "He's on Vacation"

Alana's P.O.V.

We were closing in about 30 minutes and after that I have my date with Cameron. I've never been this excited in a long time. I really do like Cameron. I was checking how much money we made today at the register when someone touched the middle of my back.

"Hey," The voice said. I turned to my left and saw Cameron smiling at me with that gorgeous smile of his.

"Hey, What's up?" I said smiling back.

"Getting ready to leave work that's all.. So are you ready for tonight?" He winked at me. 'Are you kidding me? I'm so ready for tonight! I finally get alone time with you after 2 weeks!' I thought. I didn't want to say it out allowed cause I would've sounded desperate.

"Yes. I'm excited haha," I looked up at him and smiled.

"Good! So am I. Just meet me at the door right at 7 and we can head off and walk around the pier. Sound Good?" He asked.

"Sounds great," I replied with a smile of course. He smiled at me and went back to do whatever he was doing. I couldn't even focus on the money anymore I was just daydreaming about how romantic the date would be.

"Yo Alana!" Sydney snapped her fingers in my face.

"Woah wait what?" I asked confused.

"Hey it's almost 7! Get to your date with Cameron!" Sydney yelled. Was I really daydreaming that long??

"Ok thanks for keeping me grounded! I'll see you tomorrow!!"

"Have fun! Goodnight," She waved goodbye. I went to the bathroom to fix myself up a bit. I made sure no hair was out of place, I redid my mascara, and smiled to make sure there was nothing stuck to my teeth. Alright I'm good. I walked to the door to see Cameron waiting for me.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Of course."

"Are you hungry? We can get something now or later?" He asked.

"Umm I'm good for right now but thanks though," I smiled. We walked around the pier for a little bit and got to know each other even more. Every time he told me something about himself I seemed to already know it.

Cameron's P.O.V.

We walked around the pier a bit, played some games, and went on some rides. Whenever we decided to just walk around we would tell each other about ourselves. I already knew everything that she was going to say but I don't think she knew mine. I want to say something about me already knowing her but I'm nervous about her reaction.

It was a little past 9 and we decided to just stand on the sand and watch the waves. I need to tell her right now that we already know each other. Our date was almost over and it was an amazing date but she needs to remember who I am. She leaning on my shoulder and I put my head against hers. Our arms were intertwined but we weren't holding hands. I decided that I needed to speak up right now.

"Alana.." I started.

"Yeah?" I turned towards and grabbed her hands. She looked down at our hands and smiled making me smile as well.

"Alana, there's something I need to ask you right now."

"Um ok," She said.

"I would've asked you earlier but I needed a right time."

"Ok well.. I'm pretty sure this is the best time you got so go ahead," She said.

"Alana.." I started. 'Here I go!' I thought, "Um.. Do you remember me?" She looked at me with a confused face.

Alana's P.O.V.

I was confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"For the past 2 weeks, something has been tugging on me. I kept getting this feeling that I knew you way longer than just 2 weeks! I went home 2 days ago and thought about where I could know you from and I finally figured it out.. Alana we met each other 4 years ago when Jack brought you to a Magcon.. I'm not just Cameron. I'm Cameron Dallas from Magcon and we've known each other for 4 years."

Right when he finished I looked up at him. I pulled our hands apart and covered my mouth. I shocked all these memories of magcon and jack came flooding back. I took a step back

"Oh my god," I was shocked. I knew I already knew him!

"I'm so sorry! I feel so bad that I didn't recognize you right away! I remember you it's just that I'd never thought I'd see any of you guys after I left for college!" Tears started falling from my eyes. I was so happy to see him and actually know who he was. "You don't have long hair anymore and I can tell you've been working our more!" I rubbed his hair. "Oh my god," I was just so shocked. I went in for a hug and he gladly accepted it. We hugged for what seemed like eternity.

"I'm so glad you remember," Cam said. I can feel his warmth from his hug. He let go and intertwined our hands again.

"And I'm so glad I'm seeing you again." Cameron and I were like best friends at Magcon. We instantly clicked but we lost touch after I left for college.

"Um.. There's just one more thing and Sydney told me the first part this morning but I need to know all of it," He started. I knew exactly what he was about to ask. I just knew one day that I would have to tell one of the guys.

"Alana.. How did Jack die?" I could tell by the way he asked, he wasn't trying to hurt me. I looked at the ground and a little laugh along with a tear came out.

"Uh he was in a terrible car accident," I wiped away my tears. I haven't really talked to anyone about this except Sydney.

"I am so sorry," He said. He came in for another hug.

"It's ok.. He's on vacation. Except this location only came with a one way ticket," I said into Cam's arm.

He cupped my face with his hands and wiped away my tears with his thumb,"I will always be here for you whenever you need me no matter what, no matter how big or small. I will always be here just like I was 4 years ago." I held onto his wrist.

"Thank you," I said back. We hugged one more time but this one was definitely the longest.

"Alright well lets get you home now," He said. I agreed and we walked hand in hand back to my car. Before I opened the door he thanked me for saying yes when he asked me on a date.

"No problem. It was definitely worth it," I shot him a smile and opened my car door.

"I'll see you tomorrow. Have a goodnight and thank you for making mine special," He said. It made me blush. We hugged and then he kissed me on the check. Holy shit. I blushed again. Tonight was definitely a great one and I think I'm ready to date again.
