Lilly and I lay down on the grass looking up at the stars. "beautiful night for looking up at the stars huh?" I turn my head slightly towards Lilly. We are face to face with each other.
"Do you know something more beautiful than this starry night?" She smiles and I rub my finger over her soft rosy cheeks.
Her eyes fill up with light as we get closer together our bodies practically touching. I go in for a little peck on the lips. I can't describe the feeling of them. Like a baby angel?
We see a car light come up the hill. "Shit hide, we can't be up here" Swiftly running behind a bush.
"I can't believe we got him!" The man opens up his trunk to pull out the bag.
"I know! Crazy right? The doc was just about to catch me pulling him off the bed" The second man says.
They drag the bag over by the ledge. The first guy says and heads an opposite direction from us.
"There there, Alex. Nobody will know where you've gone. You'll be forgotten. That was an amazing plan to flee like that! But you owe us. You owe us good. Hence the reason why your in a bag" I look over at Lilly and our jaw drops.
"What should we do?" I whisper to her. She starts taking out her phone. "What are you doing?!?" I whisper yell. She holds out her finger signaling to wait.
She holds it up and presses record. I feel a breath on my shoulder and slowly turn around to see a face.
"What are you doing here?" He says in both our ears. I gulp loudly.
He suddenly yanks us up, he must be at least 2x our size. "You shouldn't be here now" He slowly pulls out his gun with his free hand. "You're dead meat if you say anything" He flings us out in the air.
"LEAVE!" He yells. I crawl off the floor and drag Lilly to my car.
"Alex!..." she cries out. Tears runs down her face.
I put her up and look in the cubby. It's what I have to do. And what has to be done.
I run my hand over the gun and cock it. Lilly's tears clear up. "Hide behind the car so we don't get shot" I carefully aim at him remembering my gun lessons. "Cover your ears, this will be loud"
BANG! The gun shoots to his head. I look over at the other man and shoot him as well. I shake with fear that I just killed two men. Lilly is behind me looking through my legs.
"C-Call the po-olice" I let go of the gun dropping to the ground and stare at my hands mascara running everywhere. "I am a murderer.."
"No, no, Katy, you did what was best. They could of killed us they threatened us and literally stole my brother" she dials the police.
"Hello? I would like to file a report of two dead men. Yes. Yes. Self defense, sir. Tomorrow? Sure. Ok. Ok" Her words talking to the police scare me.
Am I going to be taken to jail? Am I going to be on death penalty?? Can I get a lawyer???! So many thoughts race through my mind.
"It was recording all of this. It never ended, it was recording before I hit record!" She looks back in the footage.
I can't believe we got him! I know! Crazy right? The doc was just about to catch me pulling him off the bed. Start digging, I'll check the area for any people.
"We will find you a lawyer. We have proof of being threatened, we will be found not guilty. Ok? I'll get Alex" She wipes a tear off her cheek.
I start the car and wait until the police arrive.
