Meeting Shikamaru

-Sigh- I'm so not ready. What if nobody likes me! Ugh I'm nervous. "Dear It's time to go!" Mother screams. "Okay coming!" I scream back. I started walking down the creaky wooden stairs and when I make it down I meet my mother and an unfamiliar face. "Dear meet Shikamaru!" Mother says with a smile. "Hi" Shikamaru says obviously not interested. "Hi?" I say still confusion. Geez this guy is a joy. "Why is he here?" I return the unsatisfactory. "He's your escort to the village!" Mother says trying her hardest not to yell at me. "I don't need an escort." I say rolling my eyes. "No arguing! Now get going and be nice!" Mother says shoving us both out of the door. I roll my eyes again, still annoyed and we both start walking. There was awkward silence until he broke it with " I never got your name." I hear him say "Oh sorry, My name is Y/N (Your name)" I reply. "Okay." He sighs. He's kind of cute. Wait what? Did I just say he was cute? SHITTTTT! (excuse my poor language)

Shikamaru's POV

She doesn't seem like a talker. I wonder if she's actually nice. But she reminds me so much if Asuma.... It's un real on how alike they are! I frown at the thought if Asuma and how I watched him die.

I see him frown and become concerned. "You alright?" I ask. "Yeah.. you just remind me of someone I cared about who passed..." He replied back. "Sorry for your loss..." I say softly. His frown left his face. " So you do have a nice side!" He jokes. "Well duh! I only act rude around my mother. She hates me sooooo much." "It can't be that bad!" He replies on what I said. "She always tells me about how much she loves my brother which left us years ago." I say jealous. "That's a drag!" He says in a calm way. " Sure is!" We talked so much that I didn't notice we just arrived. I look up to see a big gate and tall red and yellow walls. "Ah, Shikamaru!" Says a voice. I look back down and see two guys coming to greet us. "Who's this?" Says the first guy. "Y/N..." I reply softly. "Nice to meet you! We are the gate guards!" The second guy says. "Where did you come from?" He adds on. "The fire temple." I reply. His eyes widened. "You remind me of-" He tried finishing what he was saying but the other guard cut him off. He pointed toward Shikamaru. "Nevermind." He shrugged. "We have to get to Lady Tsunade so she can help Y/N out." Shikamaru says while walking away. I wave to them and walk with Shikamaru. "Sorry, They brought the guy you were talking about up, didn't they..." I try to comfort him. "Yeah, whatever." He shrugs. I frown and then keep walking. We walked through crowds of people until we met a oval shaped building. It looked amazing. Shikamaru opened the door and we walked inside. We paced down the halls and reached a room. -knock knock knock- Shikamaru knocks on the door. "Come in!" We hear a calm voice. I open the door to see and test piled with papers and windows behind the desk. I was confused until I saw a lady with blonde hair and a green robe come out from behind all of the papers. "Ah! Welcome Y/N, Shikamaru." The lady greets. "I'm Lady Tsunade!" She claims. "Lovely to make your acquaintance!" I say calmly. "I like you already!" She says with a wide smile on her face. A smile builds on my face. I feel Shikamaru trying to sneak out. "Shikamaru don't leave yet." I say. "Yes, get back here." Lady Tsunade says. "What a drag!" He scolds. "Oh hush boy." I scold while rolling my eyes. "Indeed, now here." She hands out two sheets of paper one for me and one for him. His sheet was his next mission and... I was going to be apart of it! Well shit... She walks back to her desk and says " Go meet Naruto, Sai, and Sakura for training with Kakashi Sensei." She demands. The name Naruto sound so familiar... You and Shikamaru walk out of the Hokage's office and walk out side of the building. He leads you to a grassy area for training. You see Naruto, a girl with pink hair, a guy with black hair, and a tall guy with white hair. "Y/N?!" Naruto shouts. You wave and scream " Hey Naruto been awhile!" You smile. He runs over and gives you a hug. "You know each other?" Shikamaru questions. "Yeah we do! We were close friends when I trained outside of the temple!" I smile and face toward him.
~TIME SKIP~ (still training)
It was time for me to show off my skills. "Shadow clone justsu!" I scream. I then form a hand sign and floor beneath the shadow clones and the real me turned red. It then came out of the floor and levitated above the ground. Everyones eyes were wide. I jumped off and landed perfectly. "You haven't seen the best parts!" I say while closing my eyes and forming another hand sign. This time the rocks turned into ice and then water. The water fell into the holes. Within a second the water had light surrounding it. It's all of my natural powers combined. I smiled. Kakashi sensei clapped and so did Sakura. Shikamaru was still amazed. "THAT WAS AWESOME! CAN YOU TEACH ME CAN YOU TEACH ME!!!" Naruto screamed loudly. "Augh! Maybe if you stopped screaming!" I screamed quieter while rubbing my ears. " You guys should get going home. Your parents will be worried." Kakashi reminded. "Yes sir!" We all said sharply. I walked over and grabbed my stuff. "Hey Ino's having a party want to come?" Naruto came over to me happily. "Sure? I mean I'll get to know more people so why not!" I smirked. "Okay, meet me at the big park after you get settled in." I walked away with my stuff. I was staying with my grandma who wasn't home most of the time.
