It was the next morning and I had a free day since my mission didn't start until next week. I had woke up pretty late so I had to hurry to get ready for my date. I took a warm shower, threw on some nice clothes, brushed my hair and put it in a pony tail, then grabbed my stuff.
Shikamaru's POV

I got ready for the date and got all my stuff together. I was really excited to be able to take Y/N on a date! I'm still super surprised that she said yes. I was ready to go and I had 5 minutes to eat some food. I grabbed some toast and ate while waiting.

I was ready to go! I just grabbed a glass and filled it with water. I gulped the whole thing down and placed the glass into the sink. -knock knock knock- That's him! I opened the door to a handsome Shikamaru. Well he looks the same but he's cute either way. "You look beautiful!" He complimented. "You look handsome!" I smiled. "Thank you" He said. "You're welcome" We said blushing. "So where are we going to go?" I question. "The beach" He says. "Ooh!" I sound excitedly. We took a walk to the beach and talk about our lives. After talking about our lives we decided to have some fun. We walked by the shore until he splashed me with water by kicking it. I squealed and started laughing. I splashed him in return. We ended up swimming and becoming fully soaked. When we got out of the water we headed back to his place. His parents were on a mission so they weren't home. When we arrived we went to his room and he handed me an oversized tee shirt. We then cuddled up in front of the tv in his room and watched a spooky movie. "Don't go into the bathroom after she hasn't returned!" I shouted. "That idiot!" He screamed. "AHHHHH!" I screamed and clung onto Shikamaru. After the movie was over we had a little make out session. ( NO WE DIDN'T DO THE THING YOU'RE THINKING!) I ended up falling asleep against his chest. This was one of the best days I've had in a long time!
