Chapter 15: New Year part 2

"Well then.." Yuri said as she watched Yoona chase Sehun.

Baekhyun put Taeyeon down and smile, "Midget, you came for me."

Taeyeon crossed her arms, "Um, actually I haven't." 

Baekhyun rolled his eyes, "Whatever. But anyway since you're here. We need to practice some more, is that cool?" he asked. Taeyeon sighed,

"Sure, I guess so."

"Ok, let's go." Baekhyun said as they both went upstairs.

Xiumin came from the kitchen, "Ok guys, dinner is ready!"

He saw the girls and scratched his head, "Oh, we have guests."

Kris nods, "Yep, they will be spending New Year with us."

Xiumin smiled, "Well, that's fine. Sunny and I could practice more." 

Sunny smiled back, "Sounds like a plan."

"Wait." Suho said coming from the kitchen to the girls. 

"What?" Hyoyeon questioned as she looked up from her phone.

Suho clasped his hands together, "Join us for dinner. I'm sure you girls haven't eaten anything."

"I am kind of hungry." Jessica said as she tried to ignore the stares coming from Kris.

Kris clapped his hands together all gleefully, "Great, I'll make sure you are well-fed babe." he ran into the kitchen.

Jessica went after him, "No way are you serving my food."

Everyone else went after and began fixing their food.

"Ew, could you be any more disgusting!" Tao said in disgust as Sehun wiped his hands on his pants like a child.

Sehun looked back at him, "What?"

Tao looked at Suho who shook his head in disapproval. 

Taeyeon stood up after finishing her food, "Well, thanks for the hospitality, we should be heading back."

Her friends groaned as they didn't want to return to their pitch-black homes.

Sooyoung sighed, "Unnie, do we have to?"

Seohyun agreed, "Yeah, I actually wanna stay."

Taeyeon raised an eyebrow, "What??"

"They're kinda cool." Sooyoung said which made Chanyeol grin from ear to ear along with the other Exo members.

Xiumin spoke after he finished sipping on his water, "I agree, I know we all had started off rocky but to be honest I never hated you girls."

Baekhyun nodded, "Me either." which made Taeyeon smile to herself.

Suho cleared his throat, "I honestly never had a problem as well, we just wanted to see how much potential you girls had."

Jessica raised an eyebrow, "So you thought we were weak or something." she shook her head and laugh in disappointment.

"I'm sorry but my girls and I aren't like your girlfriends who always depend on someone and very insecure-"

"Jessica it's not like that-" Suho defended as he felt guilty because he didn't mean for that to come out the wrong way.

"Yeah, we always wanted competition for once. And we knew it would be you guys." Said Luhan and Kris nodded.

"I hate to put my pride away but, we apologize for everything." Kris scratched his head sheepishly.
