Hogwarts Letter!

Author's Note :)

Ello guys well I rewritten the story a bit because I want a little haunting thing going on so you will understand a little more. This is technically my first story on here so I really want your honest opinion on this. I do want to know who would you like to be with Amelia? I have a couple of picks but I don't know if you would like it. Well after you read this chapter read my other author't note and comment which character you will like for her to be with. Oh gosh I talk to much lol and I hope you like this and I did change a bit in this chapter. Here you go:

Amelia's POV

11 years later,

I'm laying by the window of my room, looking at my uncle's old pictures from school. He's not my uncle per say, but he's just like family, Remus Lupin. You see, I never met my parents. My mother died and my father just left. I don't know in detail as to what happened. Remus took me in when no one did, and for that he's my family. Remus always said I look just like my mother and have her kind hearted heart, I have mostly my father's personality, but I have both of their temper. I always wished I would've seen them, but maybe right now I might not need to know until I'm older to understand everything.

I heard a knock on the door and a voice behind the door.

"Amelia, can I come in dear?" Remus asked

"You can." I said as he opens my door. I closed my book and looked at him

"This came in the mail today for you, thought you might want to see it." He said as he walks closer towards me and sits on my bed and hands me the letter

I looked at it confusingly and read the letter:

TO: Amelia Greko

FROM: HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY

I widen my eyes and looked at Remus, whos smirking and laughing at the expression on my face.

"Is this what I've been waiting for my since like ever? I asked, he shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know, open up and you may find out." He said. I torn the letter open and read the letter out loud:

"Dear Miss Greko, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find an enclosed list of all neccessary books and equipment. Term start on September 1. We await your owl no later than July 31.

First-year students will require:

1. Three seets of plain work robes (black)

2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

1 cauldron ( pewter, standard size 2)

1 set glass or crystal phials

1 telescope

1 set brass scales

Studen may bring, if they desire, an owl, or a cat, or a toad.

PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICK

"Oh my gosh, Remus I finally got the letter I've always wanted." I said getting and jumped on Remus. Remus smiled and hugged me and said, "I'm happy for you, your mother and father would be so proud of you."

I nodded my head, and let go of him, "I wish I can see their face and see how proud they are of me." Remus nodded and said, "I know sweet pea, your mother would be on cloud nine knowing that you going to one of the few favorite places in the world."

"When will I ever know what happened Uncle Remus?" I asked. He sighed and said, "In time you will know the truth and everything will come together, trust me. I nodded. I stared at Remus who was staring at me in a trance. "Remus what's wrong?" I asked

He shook it off and smiled at me, "Nothing it's just that you remind me of your mother so much. You have her beauty dear." He said.

"Now come on dear time to go to bed. We got a lot to do tomorrow so we can go.. He stopped and said, "what do you kids say these days now, uhh shopping?" He said unsure

I giggled quietly and rolled my eyes. "Yes Remus shopping." I said as I got in bed and pulled the sheets over my body.

"See you tomorrow dear." He said and kissed my forehead

"See you. Love you." I said quietly as he was walking away

He turned around and smiled, "Love you too." He said and turned his heel and closed the door. I looked at the door shockingly. I always wondered how could've heard me and I said that quietly? Hm, maybe good hearing I guess. I shifted in my bed and turned on my favorite radio station and fell into slumber.
