Chapter 20:

I guess me and Harry fell asleep on the couch from watching the movie marathon, since I wake with a crank in my neck. I lift my head up from the nook of his neck, he's snoring quite loud. He still manages to make snoring cute. I slowly dismiss myself from his reach, and make my way to the kitchen. I add water into the pot and ground roast beans. I turn on the coffee machine, and head upstairs to take a quick shower. I run past Harry's calendar, but take a few steps back to see that last time it was changed was in December. Right, he's been in the US. I change it to this month, July. I look at the date to see that it's circled in a heart, in small letters it says, "Day with mum! x" Aw, my little mommy's boy, I hope I don't get in the way of their plans. I know she must want to see him since he hasn't been home in over 8 months. After I've showered, I walk out into his bedroom, holding my towel around me. I move over toward my bags and pull out my owl burnout tee, indigo high rise skinny jeans, long maroon cardigan, Twain ankle boot wedges, and rose anchor studs. When I'm changed, I dry my hair and make small waves and add light makeup, just the usual foundation, eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss. I make my way downstairs and back into the kitchen, seeing the coffee's done and pour me and Harry a cup. I add two cubes of sugar into his cup, knowing he likes his coffee black but sweetened. I place the cups onto the counter and walk over to the sleeping Harry.

I wrap my arms around his neck, and tilt my head, gently pressing my lips against his cheek from behind him. "Harry, babe.. It's time to get up." He groans a bit before I kiss him once more. "Come on, you wouldn't want to miss a day with your mum." I say teasingly.

"Thank you for reminding me.." He mumbles slightly.

"Reminding you...?" I ask waiting for him to continue.

"I want you to meet my mum." He replies, leaning his head back to kiss my shocked face.

"B-b-but..."

"You'll be fine, you and mum will get along swell." He calms me while getting up, causing me to unwrap my arms from him. I just stand there, behind the couch with a blank expression. What if she doesn't approve of me? What if she makes us part and we'll have to have a forbidden romance? "Stop worrying. Just be your sweet, loving self. She's going to love you! You have nothing to be scared about." He reassured me, turning me around by the waist and pecking my forehead.

I let out a sigh. "Alright, now go take a shower and get ready."

"Yes ma'am." He said starting to walk towards the stairs.

I quickly run into the kitchen to grab his coffee, "Wait!" I yell after him. He stops at the 6th step and turns to me. I hand him his cup, "Goodmorning, I love you." I smile insecurely at him.

The cheekiest smile sweeps across his face. "I love you." He says, grasping the cup.

*************

"Harry, I don't know. I feel like such a bother. It's suppose to be a mommy and son day. Not a mommy and son plus one." I sigh looking out the car window.

He rests his hand on my knee. "You're not a plus one, my sister was suppose to come with us, so think of it as you're just taking her place for the day."

I look back at him, I grasp his hand, interlocking our fingers. I smile shortly, "I just hope she'll like me..."

He lifts up our hands and kisses the top of mine. "She will." The ride takes a little longer, since we're driving from London to Holmes Chapel. I almost begin to doze off, something about me and car-rides, they just make me sleepy. I feel him gently shake my hand. "Hang on sleeping beauty, we're almost there."
