A/N: I thought the story needed a bit of a twist, you know? It wasn't the best twist... But.. Relationships aren't always perfect. Gotta keep it realistic. -Ev xx
Chapter 28:
I didn't know who to turn to, I had no one to go to for comfort. If I went to the rest, they'd get upset with Harry, and that's the last thing One Direction needs right now, controversy. I wipe my cheeks, clear of the fallen tears. I turned around, looking down the street to see the remaining 6 figures, sort of blurred out. Where's Harry?
I grab my phone out of my back pocket and scroll down my contacts until I reach his name.
"Hey, El. Where are you guys?" His cracked voice asks.
"Hey Lou. Um, I left Harry. He was at the park. Is he there now?"
There was a slight pause. "Nope, don't see him anywhere. Is everything ok?"
"Uh, yeah, everything's fine." I sniffle.
"But you're sniffling."
"Oh, no no, I think I'm just coming down with a cold. My chest is hurting." More like my heart is hurting. "I'll be fine, but if you see Harry, can you tell him I said to come home?"
I know I shouldn't of just yelled at him like that. I shouldn't of left things unsaid and done. I still love him of course, I still care about him and all. I mean, I can't stop loving him..
"Yeah, I will. Love you, get well soon." Louis says in awe.
"Thanks, love you too." Click.

Harry's POV:
There she went, the one I love the most. I know I should run after her, but I didn't. I didn't stand up for her. Everything that girl was saying was completely untrue. Ella is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, not even fine China can compare to her. She's not flawless, but every flaw makes me fall in love with her more and more each day. My love for her is like a star, it'll take trillions of years until it dies out. She's not worthless, she's priceless. She's not a slut, she's hurt. I could've sworn I could fix her, I know I still can. Her last relationship was absolute shit. But when I held her in my arms that night, I felt like I could protect her from anything. But I failed to do so, I failed to protect her. It was a mistake, I know that now.
I walk down the street towards my flat, in hope she'll be there, kicking rocks along the way. I'm just desperate at this time, I'm desperate to make her smile again, I'm desperate to tell her how beautiful she is to me. I did mean it when I said forever.
~ Flashback ~
Her thumb presses mine down, but I excape using the bunny hole trick. Just the two of us, sitting up in bed in the morning.
"I'm so going to beat you." El says, thumb wrestling me.
"Nu-uh." I smile.
"Yeah huh." She giggles.
"You owe me a kiss if I win, or I owe you a kiss if you win. Deal?" I press her thumb down, trapping it.
"Deal." She smiles, jumping onto me, knowing she already lost.
She wraps her arms around me, lying flat on top of me. I keep a hold of her, wrapping mine around her waist. She gently places a tender kiss on my lips. I could feel her smile in between. Her cherry blossom perfume, still left over from the night before, clogging my nose. The smell of her sweet serenity reminds me of sunset. I'll smile, every day for the rest of my life, at the sunset.
She places her head on my chest, I can feel her soft fingers fiddling with my necklace. "You love me, right?"
I look down at her silky brown hair, "Of course I do. To the moon and back."
"Forever and always?"
I smile. "Absolutely. I, Harry Edward Styles, shall forever love thee, Ella Andy Parish, until the day I die," she looks up at me, "I'll love you forever." I kiss her forehead, hugging her and never wanting to let go.
~ End Of Flashback ~
I feel my eyes swell up with tears begging to drop. But I forbid them as I can't show any emotions, always have my poker face on, especially in public.
I hear a few clicks come from behind a car, I already know paparrazzi are following me. Trying to find out what's wrong and turn it into some gossip story. I just put my hand up, signaling it's not the time. But, knowing paps, they'll never stop. I throw on my shades, and pick up my pace.
I look ahead, and see a figure, a figure of a girl with long brown hair, sort of like El's. That is El. Should I run up to her? Should I just let her be? My feet didn't let me think, they just sort of did what they wanted... And they wanted Ella.
"Ella!" I call out to her. She continues to walk, not hearing me. "Ella wait!"
She finally stops and slowly turns around. By the time she's fully around, I already have one hand gently on her neck, my thumb on her cheek, and the other hand around her waist. I forcefully, but softly kiss her. I feel her arms tucked in between us, resting on my chest.
When we extract, I begin rambling. Tripping on my words. "Ella, I'm so sorry. You're so beautiful, I shouldn't of let her talk to you like that. I love you so much. You're everything I've ever wanted and now I have you. I love all your flaws and imperfections. I love your smile. Your laugh. I love everything about you. I love you. I'll continue loving you as long as I live."
Tears, rolling down both our cheeks, I rub away a tear with my thumb off her cheek. She presses her head into my hand.
"I'm sorry too I was overreacting and I was stupid."
"But you do love me, right?" I smile down at her.
A small smile appears on her face. "Of course, to the moon and back."
"Forever?" I ask, brushing away a strand of hair in her face.
"And ever and ever and ever." She hugs me tightly.
I wrap my arms around her waist, and rest my head into the nook of her neck, smiling through her hair that smells like sunset.
Just the way I like it.
