Betty's POV: I just turned away and ran. I just needed to be away from him. I had loved Archie for as long as I could remember.. but not in the same way. I told myself that it would be ok and that he would love me back. I thought he loved me but the words he said made my heart crumble into pieces.
" I don't love you that way. You've always been my best friend and I don't want more. I'm sorry."
Those words haunted me as I ran back to my house. Once I made it back, I made my way to my room. I slammed the door, locked it and ran to the bed. All I could do was cry. I was so upset I didn't realize that my window was open and I was crying loudly. I heard some one yell "Are you ok?"
