Chapter 2:"The Blonde-Haired, Green-Eyed Girl"

Jughead POV: I was walking to the trailer from Pop's and decided to go down Archie's street when I heard a faint cry. I decided to walk closer to the noise. It was coming from Betty's house. I knew I didn't want to go to the front door because Alice would most likely answer so I went to Betty's window. Betty and I weren't that close but I still cared enough to make sure she was okay. I froze for a second then raised my voice a bit and said "Are you okay?" I didn't want to alarm her. The cry quieted for a few seconds then a blond-haired, green-eyed girl stuck her head outside the window. You could tell she had been crying, but for some reason, she was still beautiful.
  At that moment, I felt a way I have never felt before. She was so beautiful and for some reason, I just want to be their for her. I had never felt this way for her. She was always portrayed as this perfect girl but at this very moment, she truly was. I finally realized that I was just standing their like a doofus and decided to say something. "Can I come up?" She slightly smiled and shook her head yes. I went to Archie's house to get a ladder. It was late at night so I tried to be quiet. I got the ladder and climbed up to Betty's window.
