I sigh and thank Dave for his generosity and bid him farewell, walking out of the shop. Suddenly, as I approached the mall's exit, money in hand, I felt a presence behind me, and saw a shadow grow near me. Immediately, I began running in fear of who or what was behind me.

As I ran, I took a small glance behind me, spotting a man dressed in all navy blue chasing after me. "THIEF!" He shouted, speeding up. Unfortunately for him, I've had my fair share of running from suspicious people, so again, I ran. And, by god, it was fast. The scene caught the eyes of many bystanders, leaving them in utter confusion. A man in a chicken suit running with $80 from security. Kind of silly, huh?

I ran until I lost the security man, and then went home in shame and confusion. Well, I must have looked quite suspicious with my suit and holding a rather specific and large amount of money and walking out of a shop.

Well, I escaped for the time being. I feared they'd find me. Did they call the police? What would I do if they found me? Where would I go???

Not to worry though. They didn't see my face or anything. There's no way they'd find me. Someday, maybe. Someday, they could find me. When I'm dead! Ha!

But, what if they find me sooner?
