Dont you remember me?

I walked down the hallway with everyone from our city. Today is the Choosing Ceremony. I sit in the front row and watch as Erudite's leader Jeanine Mathews started her introduction. Then my father. I sat there waiting for my turn to pick. Was I nervous. No, I'm terrified. If I leave like my brother, he won't hesitate to kill me next time he can get to me. "Ariana Eaton." My dad said and I walked onto the stage and grabbed the knife. I made a small cut on my hand and went over to the burning coals and let my blood fall. I saw my fathers face when he heard the sound. "Dauntless!" He yelled and I went to my new faction. We jumped onto the train car. Then we jumped on the roof. "I'm one of your leaders here at Dauntless.My names Eric. If you want to enter Dauntless this is the way in. Can't jump then you don't belong in Dauntless." He said. "So who's gonna jump first?" He asked. No one answered. "Me!" Another Abnegation girl yelled. I knew who she was from her father. But I don't know her name. She jumped and then I volunteered and I stood on the ledge and jumped. I landed on a met and felt someone pull it to the side. I rolled and saw who it was. Him. My brother. Tobias. "Name?" He asked "Don't you remember me?" I asked "Name?" He asked again. "Aria." I said climbed out of the net. A boy jumped after me and told his name to my brother. "Hey." He said "Hi." I said "I'm Uriah. Dauntless Born." He said. "Aria. Abnegation." I said "Well you don't seem like Abnegation to me." He said "Yeah that's because I left along time ago." I said "What does that mean?" He asked "One day you'll find out." I said as the last person jumped. "Dauntless born go with Lauren. Transfers stay with me." Tobias said. "I'm Four. I'm usually working controls but during training I'll be your instructor." He said. He showed us our beds or they are more like prison cots. Then the pit. And the training area. We had 10 minutes to change into a new Dauntless clothes. I had black jeans, a black tank top and a black and orange jacket. I pulled on my combat boots and walked to the dining hall. "Aria!" Uriah yelled. I walked over and sat with him. "This is Lynn. My brother Zeke. And we are missing our other friend." Uriah said. "I'm Aria." I said. We had dinner and we all laughed and had a really fun time. They walked me to my sleeping quarters and then we said our see ya laters and they left and I walked inside. I saw my brother sitting on my bed. "What are you doing here?" He asked "Oh so you do remember me." I said and stood in front of him. I had taken my jacket off when I got into my room. It showed the belt marks and bruises on my back. "Ariana. I didn't want anyone to find out." He said "It's Aria. And don't you play that I want you to be safe card because when you left... when you left things got a lot worse. Just my being here and leaving Abnegation he could come here and kill me!" I yelled. "Ariana-" "Get out." I said "Please don't do this." He said "I didn't leave you in a house with an abusive person did I? No so you don't get to be the big brother now. You can stay away from me and out of my life." I said and turned back around and walked out into the hallway. I walked to the pit and saw some transfers. "Your Aria right?" A girl with short hair asked "Um yeah why?" I asked "My friend Tris knows you." She said mad pointed to the other Abnegation girl. We walked over to her and I said hey and introduced myself. I heard familiar voices and I turned and saw Uriah and Zeke. "I'll see you guys later." I said and walked to Uriah. "I thought you wanted to go to bed." He said "Stuff happened when I got inside. I wanted to come back out here.

Three days later.
I was standing on the mat about to fight Peter. I swung and hit him in the jaw and the got one good hit on my side. I kicked him and punched him and then one last one he was out. I walked off the mat and Four was standing there waiting for me. I walked past him and he grabbed my wrist. "Don't touch me." I said and pulled my wrist away. "What happened after I left?" He asked "I said I don't want to talk to you and I meant that." I said and he grabbed onto my wrist as I walked off. I turned around and hit him in the face. I walked off and pulled my shirt back on. "Initiate." Eric called "What?" I asked "I saw you hit Four. Wanna tell me what that was about?" He asked "You wanna know so badly go asked him." I said. Me and Eric had talked a lot. He helped me with shooting and fighting. "Aria I'm not asking him. I'm asking you." He said "It's nothing Eric." I said "What is all over you back?" Uriah said when he walked up to me. "Don't be late again." Eric said. He walked off leaving me with Uriah. "Can you keep a secret?" I asked "Of course." He said "My father Marcus. Those articles written about him are true. When my brother left on the day of his choosing ceremony my dad took it out on me and has ever since. Me being here, leaving Abnegation could get me killed. My brother showed up after you guys dropped me off last night. He keeps trying but when I am around him all I feel is anger towards him." I said "Who's your brother?" He asked "Four." I said. We sat there talking about my past until curfew. I got up and walked into my door and took my shoes off and pulled my hair up and went to sleep.
