Part Twenty-Two

                              Eddie's Prov.

       The losers all fell asleep at my house and we watched a movie. It felt odd because it was only Richie, Beverly, Mike, and I. We watched what Ben's favorite movie was. "The bridge to Terabithia" we all cried as we watched it. We cried because it was Ben's favorite movie and it reminded us of him and because when the girl dies and the main character, Jesse Aarons becomes very sad because he lost his best friend to a river. Richie held me during the movie as we cried together. After that, it was 10:34 and we all fell asleep. I got some sleeping bags out for mike and Beverly, and me and Richie slept in my room. The next morning we all got up and got ready and got dressed. I wanted to text Stanley or Bill to see if they are okay but, they will be alright. They are in a hospital. It's going to be okay. I cooked some eggs and made some toast for the side. We all sat down and ate. "Thank you, Eddie. This is very good" Beverly said. Mike and Richie nodded as they stuffed their mouths. After we left the house we then rode in Beverly's car and drove to go see Bill and Stanley. We got to the hospital and walked to Bill's room. When we walked in, Stan was there and they were talking. "Hey bill, how are you doing?" Richie asked him. We all followed Richie into the room and Bill and Stanley smiled as they saw us. "I'm pretty good. I'm getting out in a few hours." Bill said. "I don't know why. But apparently I'm not "suitable" to leave yet." He frowned. "Aww that sucks." I said walking to go sit down on one of the seats in his room. "Yeah but I'm happy because Stan waited for me the entire time. He even fell asleep on the chairs out in the lobby."  He said, smiling as he looked up at Stan, who was smiling back at him. "You never went home Stan??!" Mike asked as he looked at the bags under Stan's eyes. "Yeah. I wanted to make sure that he was safe and that he was doing okay." He said rubbing his eyes and yawned. "So. What happened Bill? I know that you saw IT, but what did you see?" Beverly asked suspiciously. "I saw Stan get hit by a car like he saw me get hit by a car. He also died in my arms too and then I went home and went into the bathroom too." Stanley teared up and grabbed Bill's hand as he explained. "And then. That happened. And apparently Stan was the one who found me so basically I would ACTUALLY be dead if he didn't come over to my house and find me." He smiled. "And I'm grateful for that." He wiped his tears away as Stan went over a hugged him.

                             Richie's Prov.

       I'm so glad that they are okay. It warms my heart, knowing that they love and care about each other so much. Stan held on to Bill's hand again and the raised it to his lips and kissed it softly. Bill blushed a little bit and laughed nervously to try to take the tension out of the room. I smiled and looked at Eddie and smiled. He hugged my side as we appreciated that Stan have basically saved Bill's life. The nurse came in and her eyes widened as she saw all of us crowded in the room. "Okay at least two of you guys have to get out of here. You might give him anxiety." "You" she pointed to Stan. "You should probably be one of the two people leaving because you have been here for awhile. Go home. Get some rest. He's safe here." She said smiling as she went to take Stan out of the room. "I think Stan should be one of the people who stays because he is Bill's boyfriend and he wants to stay with him. Is that okay?" I spoke up, as I glared at the nurse who started to take Stan out of the room. "Yeah. Me and Mike don't mind leaving and waiting out at the lobby for a little bit. And then we can switch off every now and then." Beverly said. Mike nodded along while they both looked at the nurse. The nurse looked at them and then at Stan. His eyes then widened and he stiffened. I didn't know why he was acting like that and what he just witnessed but it didn't look good. "Okay" the nurse then smiled and walked out of the room. "Guess we gotta wait in the lobby guys." Mike said walking out. Beverly shortly followed. Stan then ran to Bill's side and looked at the doors. He seemed really focused. I looked at Eddie and he looked concerned too. Then I looked at Bill and he was looking up at Stan, a concerned look on his face. "Hey Stan. You okay?" I asked him, putting my hand on his shoulder. He didn't look at me or respond. He just looked back and forth between the two doors leading into his room. The nurse walked in again and Stan stiffened again. He looked worried and a little mad at the same time. The nurse smiled at Stan and then winked as she led the water on the table. "Stan?" Bill asked, grabbing his hand. "Yeah?" Stan asked. Not looking away from the door the nurse just walked in from.

                              Bill's Prov.

       I don't know what is up with Stan but I'm worried about him. He kept looking back and forth from the two entrances into the room. He looked very protective. I grabbed his hand. He froze again as the nurse wakes in again. She left me some water and she winked at Stan as she left. I could feel his hand tightening around mine.
