Chapter 1!!

Lance's POV

I was walking around the castle when an alarm rang throughout the hallways.

"Paladins. Meet at the main room. The galra have been spotted." Allura said through the intercom.

I rushed to the main room. I was the last one there since I was on the other side of the castle.

"Good. Everyone is here. There has been galra sighting a couple planets away. No one knows what they are doing there." Allura says. "Pidge. Would it be possible if you could hack into the galra system and find out why it is being used for?"

"Yeah. Give me a few ticks to find out."

Pidge goes to type on her laptop for a little bit, then says, "The logs on the ship say that it's a cargo ship, but the cameras show that there are no galra sentries on the ship. No galra are on the ship."

"That's weird. Why wouldn't the galra be on their own ship?" Shiro asks. "I think we should go investigate."

"Ummm. How about we don't?" Hunk says, scared out of his mind. "Haven't you seen those horror movies where teens go into an abandoned building and don't come out alive? It's really scary."

"Everything will be alright Hunk. We will all stick together. Right guys?" Shiro stares at me and Keith.

"Of course, Shiro. Why wouldn't we?" Keith sarcastically says. "We have no reason to separate from the team."

"I won't separate from the group as long as he doesn't argue with me." I say, glaring at Keith.

"Hey. Don't look at me like that. Your the one who keeps trying to get in a fight with me." Keith and I get into a staring contest.

"Hey, stop that. Can't you guys go one day without starting a fight?" Shiro face palms. "Seriously. We're trying to be a team and you guys just ruin it with your bad bromance."

"How about we just step away from this topic and focus on the mission?" Allura says, slightly annoyed by what is going on. "All of you are going to the galra cargo ship and see if there are any useful supplies in there. Okay? And No fighting at all."

"Fine. We'll try our best to not fight." Keith says.

"Finally." Pidge says. "A mission without arguing."

Even though Allura says that there will be no fighting, everyone knows that there will be arguing at some point during the mission.

3rd POV

On the way to the abandoned ship, the paladins started to make up conspiracy theories on what is in the ship and what happened to the ship.

Keith thinks that there are just galra skeletons lying around the ship and a disease has infected the ship.

Hunk thinks that there is a ghost or galra zombies on the ship.

Pidge thinks that the computers have taken over the ship and the computers are the only things on the ship.

Shiro thinks that all the galra have been slaughtered and the killer is still on the ship.

Lance thinks that the galra have turned on each other and the surviving galra is still on the ship. Very similar to Shiro's theory.

They made a bet on if someone's theory is right, then the rest of the paladins have to do one thing for them. If none of them are right, then they never speak of this again.

"Okay team. This is the plan. We will split into two teams. Keith and Lance are a team, while Hunk, Pidge, and me are the other team." Shiro says. "We will split up and search the ship in these teams. Do not get separated from each other. No matter what. Keith and Lance. You promised us an argue free day. Can you keep your promise?"

"Yes we can."

"Of course."

"We will hold you to your promise. Remember to keep your coms on so everyone knows if you found something and if you guys are arguing or not." Mother Shiro is coming out.

The paladins are now in their teams heading their separate ways. One team, Punk and Shiro, heading north and the other team, Klance, heading south, or at least in general direction.

As Keith and Lance were heading down a hallway, a mysterious sound was coming from further down the corridor.

"What was that?" Asked Keith. No one knew that he was afraid of scary stuff and horror films.

"I don't know. Do you want to investigate?" A curious Lance asks, really wanting to know what the sound is.

"Umm. If you want, I guess." Keith was really reluctant to figure out what the noise is, but didn't want to seem like a scaredy cat.

"Come on then. Let's find out what it is really quick so we can look throughout the ship more." Lance was really excited for some reason. Lance loves detective shows, and it felt like he was in one right now.

They both make their way to the door, Lance in front of Keith. As Lance opens the door, a different noise is heard, but it came from the other side of the ship.

"Ummm. Lance?  Are you sure we should investigate the room?" Keith asks, getting more frightened than before.

"Yeah. We should just to see if there are any supplies in there. We need those supplies since they may help us in the war."  Lance says, very oblivious to Keith being scared of the noise.

They finally enter the room, which turns on the lights.

In the middle of the room, there was a weird circle taking up most of the room and a lot of skeletons around the circle.

"What the heck is that?" Keith almost screams. "Is this some sort of sacred ritual circle?!!"

Lance is just as shocked as Keith. He has no idea what the circle is for. All he knows is that it could be a really bad thing.

"Keith. I think we should move on from this room. It doesn't seem like there is anything important in the room." Lance says.

"Hey guys. What's this about a room?" Shiro asks. "Does this room have a weird circle in the middle of it with a bunch of skeletons surrounding it?"

"Umm. Yeah. How did you know?" Keith asks.

"Long story. I'll tell you when we get back to the castle." Shiro says.

"Okay. What should we do about the circle?" Lance asks, really curious about the circle and room.

"Look throughout the room to see if there are any hints about what the circle means." Shiro orders.

Lance and Keith start to wander about the room, pick up anything that seems out of the ordinary and inspecting it.

"Hey Lance. Would is this something weird?" Keith holds up a book that had weird symbols in it.

"Hmm. Let me see." Keith hands the book over to Lance. "Yeah. I would says so. Let's keep it and show it to Shiro."

Lance keeps looking through the book, and suddenly, he comes upon the same circle that is on the floor.

"Keith. I have a feeling that the circle on the ground is some sort of ritual circle. This book has the same circle in it." Lance shows Keith the picture of he circle.

"That's weird. I wonder what the ritual circle is for?" Keith wonders.

But right after he said that, a bright light came up from the circle. A loud scream came from the both of them that could be heard from across the universe.
