After all the research and time, we knew where we had to look. Jay discovered they were last seen in the The Local Library of Paris. Searching through a book, he found their location.

An address.

The taxi took us and our possessions there. We had to head to the airport after searching today because Justice said there was an emergency.

The gravel cracked below my feet. The drive way swerved around yet another curve. Then the manor came into view.

It looked like an 1800's house.

Sight: Colorful red and orange flames errupted through the house.

Touch: Heat wrapled around me.

Sound: Than came a deafening

BOOM.

I felt hands push me back.

I curled into a ball,my arms wrapping around my legs, smoke  burning in my lungs.

Jay's arms reached under my armpits and began to drag me away from the explosion.

I reached clean air and began coughing incessantly. I sat on my hands and knees practicing steading my breath. I opened my eyes and noticed my arms were burned, but not too badly. Jay was the same.

Two people ran from the ashes towards me.

"Mom?"
