What Are the Odds? (Blue Zircon X Reader)

Hello! So, this is the first work that I might actually start publishing. I've written before on here several years ago, but it was only a prologue and I never ended up putting it out. It was also on my old account, which I forgot how to sign in to (oops). So, I'm not sure if I'll really see this one out to the end, or if this'll just end up being something I'll ditch as if it were a one-shot or something with no tied loose ends (basically, probably just another prologue or something of the like). I also don't have really any experience of writing character development; and neither haven I figured everything out for this story yet, so yay, me. Even so, if I start publishing any of this, it's there to read. So, however much of this I actually put out, feel free to enjoy (and hopefully I'll continue on this project; just don't expect frequent uploads all the time)!

(P.S. This isn't really supposed to take place at any particular time after Steven's trial, so yeah; there's that)

Update: I'm really enjoying writing this, so I'll try to continue. I just feel like I'm kind of flying by the seat of my pants at some parts, so I hope I don't write myself into a dead end that doesn't allow me to have the story go in the direction that I want it to. You probably should expect less frequent chapters at some point in the future, since I still need to figure out what to do in the story so I can make it longer; idk. So there; that's that, I guess.
