Calem x Reader: Stars 🌟

Stars.

Stars were such a wonderous view. You loved how the twinkled in the night sky. Vivion fluttered across the night as you sat with your arms crossed behind your head atop of the roof of your house.

Calem steathily joined you on the roof. You didn't even notice he was there until he said your name.

"Hey Y/n."

You jumped up and nearly fell off the roof.

"Calem!" You said, surprise etched in your voice. "Why were you even in my house?!"

"I came by to see you," he said simply, taking the empty space next to you.

"Lemme guess, mom told you I was up here?"

"Yeah."

The two of you fell into an awkward silence. This prompted you to look for a conversation topic.

"The Vivion are really pretty up there, even though it's dark outside," you said.

"Mmhmm."

Okay, that could have went better, you thought, mentally rolling your eyes.

"Hey look, it's a constellation!" You pointed up towards the sky. "It's Ophiucus!"

"What?" Calem questioned.

"It's a constellation that's supposed to be called the "serpent bearer." One of the 13 zodiac signs! I don't really find zodiac signs that interesting due to the way people carry them, but it's really cool to see one in a constellation!"

Calem was a bit confused. Where were you even looking at?

You noticed his confusion and sat behind him, directing his head directly where you were looking at. Your arms relaxed on his shoulder as you pointed out the shape of the stars.

"Doesn't really look like anything," he commented, causing you to sigh.

He quieted down again.

"So, you really like stars, huh," he thought for a moment.

"Yeah, it's really nice to stargaze. It's really relaxing and pretty fun when you do it with someone you care about."

You went back to your spot on the roof and laid back down, causing Calem to look at you and smiled softly.

"Tell me more about the stars, Y/n," he said, causing your face to light up.

"Really? Okay then!"

The two of you continued to look at the stars all night. It got really dark, and Grace had called the both of you back inside.

"Hey, Y/n," Calem called, causing you to stop yourself from getting up.

"You wanna know who my favorite star is?" He said, leaning in closer towards you.

"No, what?" You asked curiously, wanting to know.

He place a long, soft and passionate kiss on your leaps before breaking for air.

"You."
