Becca and Cody have pretty much completely separated from each other, yet Cody and Ashley couldn't be separated, when they could be together. In the distance, Becca would watch them together and she wished to be Ashley, but little does she know that if she was Ashley, she could be dumped for Cody's assistant counselor.

Time passed and so did the weeks and it was now the first week in July and the counselors were all invited to go to the local theme park, which had a water park in it, for a party. The camp had completely paid for their passes, all they had to do was go.

"Hey," Cody said early on the Monday before the Forth of July.

"Hey," she replied, "how was your weekend?"

"It was ok, I guess."

"What happened?"

"I don't think you would care to know."

She immediately stopped him in his steps, "I care about you and if you would like to talk I am here." She took a brave step doing that. Frankly, she missed Cody's company.

"Yeah, I know. Basically, I had an interesting date."

"Ah," she said disappointed, "well I'm here if you want to talk."

"I know," he said and smiled. He usually didn't act so... nice or sweet towards people but he always was to her. He usually try to get on people's nerves and act goofy to cover up his true self. As one person said, he is very misunderstood but he is a great guy.

Camp pasted by fairly quick though and a couple of times, Cody would just stare at her and think. One time, she caught his glaze and the locked eyes as if they were communicating telepathically. Ashley saw this and she walked over and interfered with there "staring match". Quickly, Becca turned her head to an interested camper who wondered what was going on.

---

Today, it's Independence Day and all of the counselors are going to Roslyn Island. The drive from camp to the park was around five hours. The group that went departed around 6:00 AM. Most slept, actually everyone slept except Cody and Becca. Ashley had quickly fell asleep on Cody and Becca and Zach locked eyes once more. It seemed as if they were together but yet floating apart at the same time.

They had a connection but yet they weren't connected. Even though they only saw each other through the darkness, they couldn't get to each other. It was a strange affair.

Later, once everyone was awake and the trance was broken, the group arrived at the park and everyone got out and went to the park gate.

As expected, the park was bustling with people ready to have the time of their lives. Cody looked over at Becca and smirked.

"What?" she exclaimed.

"Nothing, you just look good."

"You clean up good yourself," she said with her voice full of laughter. Becca was wearing a pair of khaki shorts and tucked in t-shirt. On her feet, she had her white as snow Vans on. He was wearing grey shorts with a belt and an American graphic t-shirt.

The group of counselors and camp staff finally got through the gates of Roslyn Island and everyone split off from each other and Ashley ended up leaving Cody to hang out with the life guards which left him and Becca together. The others went to go and eat and they wanted to ride some roller coasters.

"Shall we?" he said.

"Yes we shall," she said as she chuckled. First, the two rode the largest roller coaster in the park. It was called 'The Great Gatsby' and had tight corkscrews, fast and sudden downhill drops, and other thrills. Becca was "hyped", as she said, to go on the attraction.

Once they boarded the ride vehicle, Cody held out his hand and Becca, without thinking, grabbed it. Suddenly, the ride vehicle took off and sped through the tracks.

The day was ending and the stars were coming out and they went to go and grab some dinner.

"Alright, let's play a game," Becca suggested.

"Would you rather?, Who would you do?, Truth or Dare?"

"Truth or Dare."

"Alright Becca, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to go and ask that heavyset woman over there if she is pregnant."

"Easy," she said and so she did it... and almost got knocked out.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Truth," Cody said. Previously, he told someone that you should always go for truth, even if they call you a chicken.

"Do you like me?" The question slipped from her lips before she could think.
