Those were the thoughts of Moon while she was waiting in the middle of the throne room to his father to come, he was making sure nobody got hurt and sending guards to every corner of the kingdom looking for Monsters remaining.
The Royal Family of Eric decided to stay on the castle for the night, even after the monster attack, they said they will wait when the Princess answer to the wedding propose.

While his father was out she decided to wait for him in the throne room

Moon knew his father was gonna question her about what happen in the ballroom with Eric, and honestly, for the moment, she really have something way more important to discuss with his father. But still, she was afraid for what her father might think about the think she wanted to tell him for a long time, what would his reaction will be about the notebook and about the fact of her letting the monsters get away from the castle, he would probably freak out like he always does about everything odd happening to her, like he always did since she was a little girl.
But still she thought maybe he would listen to her for once and support her in this matter at hand, as her mother probably will, or at least she did before she left.

Ever since her mother died, the relation between she and her father was quite distant, he would always tell her how to behave as a princess and future Queen of Mewni, other than that, he would just ruled the kingdom, trying so hard to be a good King and at the same time making sure she was gonna be the Queen the kingdom needed her to be. Even if he just tell Moon how to rule a kingdom, still he was an overprotective with her, he barely let her do things by herself.

Sometimes in moments like this, when it come to Moon and her Father talking, she always wondered what her mother will do in this sorta things.
Right now she would probably tell her to be brave and faced everything for her dreams, or at least...
Moon thought she would say that right now...

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the King entering to the room making noise from the doors as the guards pull them for him to pass, as soon as he enter, the door closed behind him, leaving the King and Moon alone in the room.
The king suddenly walk towards Moon, as he stopped right in front of her, he embrace her daughter with a tight hug.
Moon at first was suprised by his father's action, but after a moment she immediately hug him back.

After a few moments being like this, he pulled away from the embrace and look at Moon's eyes, her beautiful and round eyes.

.-I see you are still here.

The King said with firm and caring voice, being suprised to see her daughter still in the throne room after the events of that night.

.-I needed to be, I don't think I could get some sleep after tonight.

.-Still, you should be in your room at this time.

.- I know I should, but I really needed to talk to you, about something important.

The king only stared at her for a moment, after a sigh from him he said:

.-Well, I was hoping to talk about this tomorrow, but since you insist, we need to discuss about the events of this night.

Moon only nodded at his father's statements.

.-Well, about what happened with the problem of mons-

.-First of all, and more importantly.
What happened to you at Erick's proposal at the ballroom?

The king asked to Moon, apparently interrupting what Moon was about to say.
