I always rambled when I get extremely nervous but when Ellie was taken instead of talking I cut myself out of everyone else lives until El returned.
When she first arrived home I noticed her scan every room and jump at the sound of doors slamming. I remembered that after a close friend's death that she had nightmares and when she did I would tell her stories about my childhood. So I tried it again one night when her nightmares wouldn't let her sleep.
