SIGHHHHH......
No one likes the thought of waking up early to go to work, school etc. but hey, we have no choice. It's just really frustrating..I mean really. I love my bed. This ain't right. Ugh. It's not like I don't enjoy my job or anything because I really do but as I said before the thought of waking up and leaving my comfy bed just gets me in a very emotional state.
After eating some bacon and eggs for breakfast, I got ready for work in a simple bodycon red dress with some black flats since I wasn't in the mood for heels today.
I arrived at work on time which earned me a standing ovation from my fellow workers. I laughed and rolled my eyes and went to my office and let out a groan when I saw all the paper work I already had on my desk.
Since i'm such a fatty (not literally) and I get hungry incredibly fast, soon as I sat down, I pulled out one of my chocolate bars and started nibbling on it while I sorted out these files so I could enter the data into the computer sequentially which will be way more easy to look up and research in the long term.
Two hours later, I was whistling softly along to the tune of a song that was playing from a parked vehicle outside on the side of the road. I was actually close to finish entering these data into the computer and I couldn't wait! But then all of a sudden, I felt something hit me on my arm which caused me to react like a ninja in self defense mode. I looked on the floor where the object fell and saw a crumpled up piece of paper. I scrunch up my eyebrows and retrieved it from the floor. I slowly opened it up and saw words appearing. I read the question twice and let out a giggle with the shake of my head.
"How about we try that lunch date again? Since the last time wasn't so great. So I will meet you at entrance at lunch time. Yea?"
P.S that should give you a hint as to who I am ;)
------------------------------------------------------------
It was lunch time and I was so happy! I mean it's a break from work for a couple minutes and plus I get to eat which is like 100 points. DING! DING! FRIGGING DING! I mean who don't like food? Psh, I dunno about yal but this girl do...
After gathering my essentials into my bag, I walked over to the entrance and saw him already waiting for me as he leaned against the wall as he tapped away on his phone. When I reached close enough that will enable him to hear me, I shouted, "HEY!!"
This caused him to jump a little since he was so engrossed into his phone and looked around franctically before his eyes finally settled on me with a playful glare.
"Where to..Josh?" I asked as I looped my arm with his, "And that wasn't a very romantic way of asking a girl out for lunch."
He chuckled as we began walking and asked, "Who said I was trying to be romantic?"
I rolled my eyes at that and smiled as we continued our journey to Subway which was just across the street.
We had to stand in line for like five minutes and Josh ordered a six inch sandwich while I ordered a salad. He raised eyebrow to that but I acted like I didn't see it and being the gentleman Josh is, he paid for both our orders which earned him a bone crushing hug from yours truly but we were rudely interrupted when we heard a couple of throats clearing from behind us and that's when I remembered that we were still in the line. I nervously chuckled and apologized and kept my head low as I walked past them to get to our seat.
"That was quite a hug you gave him there." I heard an all too familiar voice say and I paused in my tracks and looked to my side and saw Hayden standing in line with both his hands stuffed in his pockets looking straight ahead.
"I mean if I didn't know you two, I would assume that yal are some kinda crazy couple" he continued "But yal are NOT a couple so I don't see why the action was really neccessary considering the fact that yal held up the line."
You know, Hayden says a lot of stupid things and this just happens to be one of them because he's acting really outrageous over a stupid little hug and I know if I had to take on Hayden my blood pressure will rise to do frigging roof so I just ignored him, took a deep breath and walked over to where Josh was standing a repectable distance from us as he watched us intently with furrowed eyebrows.
"Sooo...What was that about?"
"Nothing, sometimes Hayden just acts like a dick especially when I'm around guys."
"He's jealous" Josh stated with a chuckle.
I almost missed my seat as I was about to sit when he said that but I quickly caught myself before I fell down on my butt infront of these people.
"Jealous?!" I sputtered "Josh, he barely knows me far less for him to be jealous when it comes to me"
"Hey" "I'm just assuming" "Because it seems that way" "And if you don't see it, then you're just dense" he said in between bites.
I gave him a look when he called me dense and looked to where Hayden was now making his order. Even from the back he looks hot. UGH. I have some serious problems and it's not healthy. But why would Hayden be jealous of Josh!!? Hayden can't possible have feelings for me........
I quickly look down on the table and played with my salad so that he didn't see me practically gawking at him. After a couple seconds, I looked up and saw him watching me dead in the eyes It was like slow motion- it felt like an eternity as we had a stare down and then he slowly cast his eyes on Josh's back and clenched his jaw as he looked away and pushed open the doors to exiit. I watched as he crossed the road in steady yet agitated strides.
I sighed as I ate my salad and listened to Josh rambling on about how crazy the dish tv ads are to him and the thought came to my head:
what's up with all the damn assumptions today.
