Nico wanted a banana. He didn't know why. He didn't know how he was going to get one. But he wanted one. Sighing, he heaved himself out of bed and made his way over to the back room. He opened the door. Will looked up, startled, and hurriedly wrapped the bandage on his wrist back up. He smiled uneasily as Nico stared suspiciously at him.

"What can I do for you, Nico?" He sighed.

"Are you okay?" Asked Nico, surprised at Will's change of attitude. Then he noticed Will's eyes were shining slightly. Will just forced a smile and repeated the question. A thought came into Nico's head.

"I... I just wanted to say that I didn't have a nightmare last night."

Will's smile became more genuine by the second. Soon enough it was a full on beam.

"That's great Nico!"

Nico nodded and walked back out through the door, but popped his head in once more.

"And I also wanted to, um, ask for a banana." He said hesitantly.

Will started to laugh but assured Nico he would get him one, before scolding him for being out of bed.

When Nico took the banana, he almost dropped it in shock. He could see yellow! In fact, he could see every other colour as well. Will looked at him in confusion. Nico reached his hands up to Will's hair (which was slightly hard given the height difference) and played with the golden strands in admiration.

"Your hair! It's golden! And out there," He detangled his hands from the hair, not noticing Will's furious blush and closed eyes. "The sky is so blue."

Nico continued admiring everything, still oblivious to the golden-haired boy's condition. Will touched his hair gently. Then he smiled, noticing the way Nico embraced his childish side in front of him.

"I'm going to watch a movie." Proclaimed Nico.

"Okay... What do you want to watch?"

Nico blushed slightly.

"Do you have The Lion King?" He whispered, scowling.

A laugh crept up Will's throat.

"Sure, Death Boy."

Nico rolled his eyes, but seemed to accept the nickname. Will managed to wheel a huge TV in front of Nico's bed, courtesy of the Hephaestus cabin, and put in the DVD. He grinned and flattened Nico's pillow. Nico frowned when he saw Will leaving. He scooted over to one side of the bed.

"Aren't you going to watch it with me?" He asked.

Will turned back, surprised.

"Sure thing, Death Boy."

Will gingerly eased himself onto the bed.

Will hated to admit it, but he cried when Mufasa died. At some point during the movie the two boys' legs had become entangled, but that didn't matter, did it? Where their legs touched, it sent tingles flaring through Will. He tried to focus on the movie instead. Nico's legs were so cold, he could feel that even through his black jeans. Will rubbed his legs up against Nico's, trying to warm themup.

"What are you doing?" Came a muffled voice.

"I'm warming up your legs." Will replied.

Nico fought his way past a mountain of pillows, until he was face to face with Will. He scowled. Will grinned.

"How are you always so happy?" Nico said, collapsing back onto his side of the bed.

"Because there's a lot to be happy about." Will smiled.

"Like what?" Nico said sarcastically. "I'm stuck in the infirmary, I can't shadow travel, and my cabin looks like it's been decorated by vampires!"

Will thought for a second.

"Well... You're not dead, you aren't colour blind anymore, and you've got me."

Nico snorted at the last one. Will rolled out of the bed, looking at his watch.

"Holy Hera, it's past 10." He scrambled to the door of the infirmary.

"I'll be back tomorrow, sleep well." He grinned at Nico before running over to his cabin. Nico returned the smile long after Will was gone.

He was cold again.
