Chapter 8

Alex's Pov:

The park is almost empty, like I said almost. There was a couple having a picnic on a blanket and then there was the man on the bench. I instantly knew who he was, Henry. I looked over at Caleb cautiously and saw him looking back intently. "So what do we do now, why are we even here?" he asked slowly. I shook my head to keep him quiet. I looked at him and put on what I hope is a serious face. " Caleb what ever you do don't take a step out of this truck. Just watch." I said lowly while slowly getting out of the big SUV. I slowly stalked towards a tree behind the bench. I tried to listen to his thoughts but they were blocked somehow. I made sure my own mental walls were secure and closed my eyes. Being the very powerful psychic I am able to become invisible. Well kind of because a psypchic can enter the mind of others ( Well some can) you can also control what they see. I focused on connecting into the hunters mind again. Something was blocking me. It wasn't very powerful but just enough to block me out of his head.

I gave up and waited. I looked down at my clock and 4:35 was printed on the digital screen. Thats when I heard her.

"How nice to see you again Love. Henry darling have you found out the date. You know how I am when I don't get what I want. " my face paled ant the recongnization of the voice. It's her. I peaked around the tree and there she was wearing her cloak. My sister.

Shoot, shoot, shoot. How can she be here. I looked up to the sky and noticed the sun was gone.I have tried to make a better life for myself but you know what they say. The past always comes back, and when it does it bites you in the butt.

Caleb's Pov:

 I saw  Alex pale and then peak around the tree. A woman in a red cloak stood there in front of the man on the bench. I inhaled deeply and instantly smelt it. The woman in the cloak is a vampire.

What the heck, all the vampires were suppose to be in hell. How in the heck is a vampire here. I saw Alex stand up and start to walk over towards the bench. What is she doing?

Alex's Pov:

I sighed and got up. Maybe if I ask her to stop she will leave. I mean we are sisters after all. I made my way behind the hunter and placed a hand on Henry. Instantly he was out like a light. I turned my head towards my sister and looked into her ruby red eyes. "Nice to see you again Alexandria." she said before lunging at me.
