Chapter16

Alex's pov:

After the battle Jason lead all of us back to the house everyone looked either tired or angry. When we all got seated in the living room everyone eyed Cassy and I suspiciously. "What plan." Jason said just getting to the point

. I looked down at Cassy. "Well this is my little sister Cassy. After I ran from home I had Cassy keeping tabs on what was going on. The only reason I left her there with Victoria is because I wouldn't be able to hide. Cassy is Victoria's full biological sister and can be tract easier.

So when I found out about Victoria's plan I asked Cassy to do a few things for me. When everyone was out she freed Jenny and gave her some of my money. We then sent her away or at least out of the country until everything was over. The plan was when the day comes for battle Cassy was suppose to go to the safhouse.

But obveously she didn't listen. Which brings us here. I am half vampire, half witch. Being a witch gives me some abilities or gifts. Like me being psychic or conjuring up a storm. You know my father never use to be so mean and heartless. After something happend to my mother everthing went down hill. He killed Cassy and Victoria's moms mate then had two children with her. I am the princess of the vampires,blah,blah,blah. So any questions?" I asked while playing with Cassy's long blonde hair.

Almost everyone took the information in okay. Like I said almost, Caleb stood up with an angry expression. "How could you do this to me,to us. You lied to me, you lied to my family and my pack, then I find out you knew where my sister was you cold hearted monster. You and your sister should have to rot in hell like your parents." he yelled then stormed out of the room.

I felt pain, hurt, and rejection stab at my heart. I felt tears start to form. I looked around and everyone had shocked faces while looking out the door that Caleb just left through. Tears slowly started to fall down my face.

I felt a warm hand on my shoulder and Calli's image flashed through my mind."That boy is so bull headed. I understand what you did and why you did it, but its a lot to take in. Honey I know that is not how he should have handled it. He'll come around sweet heart, just you wait. And when he apologizes I'll have front row seat to watch him realize how much of an ass he is. (excuse my french)

I just nodded and held onto Cassy tight. She wipped away the tears and gave a small smile. "Come on sissy take me to your room." She said with delight. Thats when I remembered, I share a room with Caleb.

I am the worst mate.
