I woke up tied down to a bed. What is going on here? There was no one in the room.I spotted a window in the corner. I tried to reach it but the ropes were too tight. Where was I? I am never going to get out of here. I thought. I tried to move a little, but gave that up quickly because the ropes were slicing threw my skin. I didn't want them to know I was awake so I didn't scream or say anything. There was no possible way for me to get out of these ropes.

KNOCK!!!

What should I do? I thought. Sleep or awake?

" Hello, Camara? Are you in there?" A voice said.

" Who are you? Where am I?" I asked

" I will be serving you. I am Jackson," the man stated. Jackson walked into the room carrying some pancakes. I loved pancakes! They were my favorite!

" Would you like me to untie you?" Jackson questioned. I gave him a small nod. He placed the pancakes on the floor and bent down towards me. His swift fingers undid the knots quickly. I felt like I was in heaven. I could finally move.

" OK your all set," Jackson assured. I must have game him a confused look because he said, " You are free to walk around the mansion,"

I was so scared that I didn't talk. I just rubbed my stomach.

" Are you hungry?"

another nod.

" Oh I'm sorry. Here have some pancakes," Jackson said while handing me the plate.

I ate like an animal. It was probably disgusting in Jackson's eyes. I looked up at him when I was finished.

" So what do I do now?" I asked in a hoarse whisper.

" Well you could..." Jackson started to think. He put his hand to his chin. " I don't know what to you like to do?"

" Run away,"

" What?"

" Well I ran away from home and now I'm gonna run away from here,"

" Camara you shouldn't even try," Jackson doubted me. He didn't even know me. He didn't know what I was capable of. But it didn't matter. He was going to learn exactly what I could do. I shook my head at him.

"What?" He asked dubiously.

" You don't know me Jackson," I said sternly.

" That is where you're wrong Camara. We all know know you,"

" We?"

" There are many of us at Hexton Manor, including more kids like you,"

" What sick person would take eight year old children?"

" Oh not just eight. Any age"

Jackson said it calmly like he didn't care about how many kids are getting hurt. It made me angry. I didn't like the way he was talking to me. I didn't deserved to be talked to that way. After everything that happened to me I didn't want Jackson or anybody talking to me. I needed quiet so I could think of a plan to get out there.

" You may leave," I said casually. Jackson pivoted on his heels and left the room. I sneaked under the covers of the bed still hungry. But I didn't really care. I let the warmness of the rough woolly blankets cover me. It felt good and comforting. It was soooo warm . While I was under it I felt so sleepy even though I had just woken up. I wouldn't let myself fall asleep. Jackson mentioned a name. Something like Hector Mansion or something. And apparently there were more people. More children and more people that take them.

This place was a child's worst nightmare. And I was living it. I tried for many hours to think of a way to get out. Nothing was working. If I left the room they might have tied me up again. I finally knew that this was my life now. This was going to take a long time.

" Camara darling, we need you to get ready for dinner," a woman's voice said.

" I'm not going to dinner," I said stubbornly.

" yes you are. The Boss insists it,"

" nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed, " STOP, Stop talking about him!" I demanded. This was not fair. They already took me away from my life. And then they keep talking about the man that did it. I hatted them.

" Camara this is your new home. He is your family. You talk about your family," the woman said sternly.

" Well then I hate my FAMILY!" I opened the door quickly. Stuck my head out and said, " and I hate you too!" I slammed the door quickly in her face. Before she could respond but after I saw her shocked face. It made me smile. Like she had never seen such an angry child before.

" Camara, I know you don't like him now, but you'll learn to like him. He really isn't that bad," she said hoping that I would trust her. Well she was really stupid if she thought a few words would make everything okay.

" He isn't really that bad? Are you an idiot? This man you call 'The Boss' takes children in the middle of the night. I don't know about you but I think kidnapping is the baddest of bad," I argued.

" Enough games Camara. You are coming to dinner whether you like it or not. Now I'm coming in," I here the click of the lock turning. The nob turned quickly and out popped the lady behind the voice. She was plump with her brown hair pulled tightly into a bun. I didn't notice before the pimples covering her face. She was a lot uglier than I thought.

" Wow," she looked me up an down. She was definitely disappointment. " Well we'll have to work with it. I'll try my best to make you presentable," Presentable? How did she did think i'd look? I just got kidnapped. I'm not gonna look like some fancy celebrity. She grabs me by my arm and brings me towards the bathroom. Bunhead turned the nob of the shower on. Then she yells," Get in!!"

" Take a chillpill lady," I casually said. I started to undress but then shot Bunhead a look saying " excuse me what are you still doing in here get out," She understood immediately and left the room quickly. Thank God because if she thought I was gonna get changed in front of her she would be really stupid.

I hurried and put the tight ugly dress on. It was green and gold and i looked like a fairy tale princess. This sucked. I thought, this was defiantly the worst thing that could happen to me. Defiantly couldn't get any worse. But guess what? It did.
