"Brit!" I look up and see that Miranda is calling me over. Looking at Austin and Ivan I roll my eyes, Austin grimaced and nodded his head for me to go over. smiling awkwardly I get up and head over to Miranda thankful to be out of that awkward situation!
"Yes Miranda?" I ask as I give her a hug
"We need to talk about you and Austin." she says seriously. 'I'm guessing she just saw what happened. When she says his name I look over to where I last left him sitting in the grass. Surprised he wasn't there, disappointed I look back at Miranda. "What's going on between you two huh?"
"Miranda I really like him, but he doesn't like me back!" I whisper and she freaks.
"What?!? of course he likes you!" she yells enthusiastically.
"How do you know?" I ask.
"It's so noticeable! you can see it wen he looks to you, his eyes light up and sometimes he even blushes when he sees you or you look at him." She giggles.
I blush at what she says, when I feel like someone's watching me from behind, so I quickly turn around and see austin staring at me with those perfect grey blue eyes. When our gazes lock I blush and I turn around as fast as I can.
Austin tries to be sneaky climbing up on the brick wall me and Miranda are siting on. He comes up to me on my left side but I act like I don't notice him coming. The funny thing us he scared away three girls, so I knew that I could look because they had blown his cover.
His smile falters when I look back at him because now he can't sneak up on me. But his smile returns when he crawls the rest of the way over to sit next to me.
A mischievous glint enters his eyes and I didn't have time to react fast enough when he does what I hate most, he tickles my leg. I smacked his hand an he just laughed and moved to tickle my sides, "STOP! You know I hate being tickled!!" I gasp out in between my fits of laughter.
While laughing an trying to fight him off we both fall back. laying on my back with him next to me, he rolls to hi side with his head on his propped up arm. When he looks me in the eyes I see the same intensity from earlier.
