If only

Chapter 3

A week from now school starts. I honestly don't know what to feel, excited? Nervous? Scared? I really don't know, it's like I can't put a label on what I'm feeling. The thing is I don't have any friends, and if I did I assure you it's only going to be a petty friendship because they'll feel sorry for me.

Today wasn't going to be so great , it'll be busy . I have to go buy my school uniform, after that we're going to my check up to see if my health is getting better. I'm not worried about my check up because the worst news that I've heard in my life other than gramma dying is that is me ending up with cancer. So I obviously became carefree I rarely even cared and if I did it would be only about my parents.

As I got out of the car I waited under the scorching heat coming from the sun above me, for my mum before I entered the shop. I know it sounds weird but the shop looked really nice compared to what it was like the last time I was here which was before I got homeschooled.

It was just too weird.

Once I entered the aroma of new clothes and boxes smell welcomed me. I was definitely not used to it.
I stared at all the walls and mannequins wearing different uniforms for all kinds of schools and jobs, that is until my mum called me over to the cashier.
"Yes ma?" " honey I need you to go and try these out please."
And so I went but, couldn't find the changing rooms, I must have looked so lost , because a girl who seemed about my age came to ask me if I needed help, which I badly did." Hello my name is summer , and I work here, do you need help with anything?" " um..... actually yeh I do. Do you know where the changing rooms are?" I asked. " yeah there are right there." She pointed to a corner of the shop and I soon thanked her.
After approximately an of staying at the shop we finally left home but not before making a quick stop at Macdonalds. When we finally reached home I went straight to my room and went into a deep slumber.
