***well, to those who haven't read this yet, I'd like to apologize for the errors you'd see. Basically, English isn't my first language, so kindly bear with me. XD

Bazla's POV:

"Come on, Baz. Our meeting will start in a few minutes." Edith, one of my colleagues cheerfully told me without looking as she went out the door.

I sighed to myself as I collected the stack of papers on my desk. We're supposed to meet with the principal sponsors for our upcoming charity program which will be held in a couple of weeks.

I've been working as a social worker for a few years now. Sometimes, it could be tiring and draining - but that's because of the cases of the kids we're handling. Usually, we search for a suitable family who will adopt the kids at foster homes, or we also help the authorities with kids who are abused whenever they don't know what to do with them.

I quickly searched my pocket for some coins with my free hand to get me a coffee in the vending machine. I don't know if I'm being extra clumsy today or I'm just sleepy, but I bumped into something as I turned around -- Oh, it's someone!

"Ouch! What the hell!"

I was shocked. I stared at the woman before me, my mouth agape. Not just any other woman, but I think she's the most beautiful woman I've seen in person...

"You ruined my dress!" She exclaimed with wide eyes - red ones!

"Just get changed later and stop overreacting for once, Priya." Another gorgeous lady said monotonously.

"Overreacting?! This is --"

"I'm so sorry!" I blurted out. I can't help it, I am shaking and panicking right now!

Priya's glare has softened as she smiled menacingly at me. "Ooohhh..." She cooed. "What an adorable human we have here. Perhaps we shall settle this in my place?" She said as she stroked my cheek.

I felt lost as I looked into her eyes and felt my insides tingle with her touch. "I... I..."

The other lady poked Priya's hand. "Keep your hands to yourself, Priya. Or you know what I'll do." She warned in a low voice.

Priya rolled her eyes in dismay as she groaned. "Aww, you're no fun, Kamilah."

Kamilah looked at me with her piercing brown eyes as she spoke. "Would you mind telling us where the room C4 is please?"

I absent-mindedly nodded at her. "Uh y-yes. This way, please." I answered as I motioned for them to follow me.

"But what about my dress?" Priya protested. "This doesn't look professional at all."

"For heaven's sake, Priya. I don't care what you'll look like, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind." Kamilah responded firmly, her gaze fixed in the hallway. "Now, shall we?"

I nodded as I started to walk. I could feel Priya's stare at me as she hummed. I feel uncomfortable and weird. Two undoubtedly good-looking women are behind me, and it's embarassing how I met them.

I opened the door to the conference room. All my colleagues are there and I've never felt more humiliated when I realized that they must be our principal sponsors! A look of shock crossed the faces of my workmates, specially Mr. Jake, our manager. He stood up and offered his hand for the ladies to shake. "A pleasant day to you, Miss Sayeed and Miss Lacroix." He greeted with a huge smile plastered on his face. Of course, how could he not smile, just look at these women!

Kamilah just nodded and looked away, while Priya gave Jake a slight squeeze at his shoulder with a smile. "Hello to all of you." She told everyone. Her gaze met mine and she winked at me. I couldn't help but lower my head in disgrace.
