Noir's POV:

I woke up dazed, my head aching fucking badly, as if I was hit with a baseball bat or something.

I just realized that my hands were fucking bound by ropes. I looked around and I think I'm inside a warehouse or something? The lights flickered on and off, and I can hardly see, so I'm not really sure. And this goddamn headache wouldn't leave me! This sucks!

I shuddered when I remembered Bazla. "Bazla!!!" I called out several times. I swear to all the Olympian Gods, if anything happened to her, I'd kill the ones responsible! "Bazla!!!"

I heard the door behind me opened. "I will release you, but you need to calm down." A soft, female voice said.

"Calm the fuck down? Are you fucking kidding me?" I asked impatiently.

"Told 'ya. That one's tough." Another female yet familiar voice added.

An astoundingly pretty lady kneeled before me. "Listen to me. If you won't calm down, we won't release you."

"Then tell me where the hell my friend is." I firmly demanded.

"She's safe, Noir. Don't worry."

"Dilay?! What the fickity fuck are you doing here?! Why am I tied up?!"

The other lady rolled her eyes. "This is the third time that I'm gonna tell you to --"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm fucking calm, love. Dontcha worry." I replied sarcastically. She nodded as she leaned closer, loosening the ropes.

"Uh, can you not move closer, mon amour? Your beauty will kill me."

Pretty girl smiled as she stood up, offering her hand. I took her really soft hands and stood up. "That's Lubna, Noir." I heard Dilay say.

"Wait, what're you guys doing? Why am I here? Why is --"

"Wallah, you're a human version of headache." Lubna complained. "You should be thanking us instead, Noir."

I rolled my eyes in dismay. "Alrighty, thank you for tying me up, thank you for maybe drugging me, thank you for--"

"I'm gonna stop you right there, Noir." Dilay said as she placed a finger on my mouth. "Priya Lacroix is a dangerous woman, and we followed you when you sent us a text that you are going over her house to meet her."

"We drugged you and your friend because we had to. Or else, things might get worse. And we tied you up because we didn't want you to lose control once you're in your senses." Lubna added.

I certainly feel that there are some things that they're not telling me. "Why should I trust you both?" I asked as we walked over to another dark room.

"Come on, Noir. Like we will hurt you. You and Bazla are personally my friends." Dilay answered. "There she is."

I rushed over Bazla, who seemed to just woke up. "N-noir...? W-where are we?" She weakly asked.

"It's okay, we're safe." I think. Or maybe, at least for now. "Let's just go home, human."

"D-dilay? H-how..."

"Noir will explain later. For now, we'd have to take both of you home. You guys need to rest." Dilay replied, as Lubna nodded.

Dilay's POV:

"Are you both certain that they're alright?"

"Yes, Adrian. We took them home." Lubna answered. We're inside Adrian Raines' office, and Lubna is working for and with him.
