chapter five

          Epov

We were back on the road and Bella was sleeping in the passenger seat. I felt very protective over her for some reason.

I couldn't understand why. All I knew is I felt like she was my responsible. We were taking a break in the next town.

I was being gently woke up by Edward. "Were stopping for dinner. Come on you need to eat." Edward reached for my hand and I took it. I felt a electrical shock go through my hand and up my arm.

I gasped and let go of his hand. I stared at my hand for a minute before I put my hands in my pocket.

I never felt that before when I touched anyone. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad feeling. In fact it felt good. But I never been with anyone before.

Sure boys tried. But I never had time for them. I was always interested in stuff dealing with the weather. So I was always busy.

Edward took me out of my thoughts when he handed me a menu. I took it and looked at it.

What was up with that electrical shock I felt. Don't get me wrong it felt good and I knew Bella felt it.

I never felt that before. Sure I had girlfriends befriends. I'm still a virgin though. Saving it for the one.

The waitress came to our table and we order our food.

            Jasper pov

I'd been watching how Edward is with Bella. See Bella is like a little sister to me. We grew up together. We are closer then the others.

Hell were best friends. Charlie is like a second dad to me. The others don't pay attention like I do.

I like Edward. For some reason I trust him with Bella. I tip my head to the side as I watch them.

You know I think they make a great couple. But if they get out of the stubborn  asses then they might see it to.

But I did noticed Edward became proticive of her. Bella needs that in her life. I can't always be there to protect her like I use to.

I got Alice now. I turn and look at Alice. There's not nothing I would do for her. She's my life.

After we eat I watch as Bella gets up and walks outside. I get up and stay a distance back.

She's doing it again. I shake my head and smile. She finding a way to do her share of her work.

It's like she in tuned with the environment around her. She tips her head back and closes her eyes.

I watch with intent. She is so beautiful. Where did that come from? But it's true. I don't know why I feel such a pull to her.

But we always to seem to butt heads. I lean back against my truck and cross my arms and watch her.

I could feel Edward behind me watching me. I knew by the hum in my body I could feel. It is so different and strange at the same time.

I didn't understand why I felt it when he was close. I needed to ride with Jacob because this was starting to get on my nerves. Plus I needed to think.

I turned and started to walk and stopped beside Edward never looking at him. "I'm riding with Jacob." I started walking again until Edward stopped.

"I run this trip and I say you ride with me." My eyes widen and I turned around and put my finger into his chest.

"LET ME GET ONE THING STRAIGHT, YOU MAY RUN THIS TRIP BUT YOU DO NOT RUN ME CULLEN!" I snapped.

"HAS ANYONE EVER TOLD YOU YOUR DAMN STUBBORN WOMEN? YOUR GOING TO GET YOURSELF HURT AGAIN." He yelled.

"I KNOW HOW TO DO MY MY JOB AND GETTING HURT IS PART OF THE DAMN JOB! YOU WILL NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO. I'M RIDING WITH BLACK AND THAT'S FINAL!" I turned and walked away.

I punched the air. That woman is so  damn stubborn for her own good. God she piss me off and what is with the hum I feel when I'm near her.

I watched as Bella got into the radar vechile. I just glare at her.
