( 3rd POV )

A few ravens briefly blocked the sun over the tanning jocks that were on the roof of their broken down school bus; before scattering with some crows in the field, while others perch in a tree nearby.

Coach Charlie looks over to coach Barnes as he held up his phone, only for the other man to shake his head.

" We gotta be in some kind of sun spot or something. There's no signal getting out. "

Barnes informs his coworker. As the two discuss on how to get back home with Betty, little did they know about Corbin giving a small knowing smile to herself as she hears the adults talk about contacting help.

' Bah! What humans won't do these days for fleeting seconds of pleasure, and not care for the heavy consequences. '

Beowulf thought to himself as he shakes his beak. He and the other corvids look down at the three cheerleaders smoking tobacco.

" Lady cheerleaders! "

The three girls turn around abruptly as they quickly tried to keep their smoke in their mouths as Coach Charlie crosses his arms at them.

"That's not smoke I smell is it? "

The woman only look around as they try and not make eye contact with the man.

" Minxie... "

Coach Charlie sighs exasperated.

" There's not a girl in the world these days stupid enough to kill themselves by sucking on cancer sticks, am I right? "

The coach only sighs, telling the rest of the girls to go back on the bus as he turns around; not noticing the girls expel their smoke and coughing while quickly trying to get ride of the smoke. Seeing the coast clear, Betty than steps out from behind the tree to take a few drags.

Beowulf then flies from to another part of the tree, sensing his companion's mate nearby. He watches the other boys go back onto the bus from their coach's orders, leaving only Kimball in the field.

' What was that? "

Kimball asks himself when he sees a shadow pass over by. He looks up, using his hand to block out the sun. When he sees nothing out of the ordinary, he shrugs and zips his pants back up; only to snap his head up back again when he heard a noise ,that sounded like whenever he would slam his towels against his couch's seat in order to dry them, and saw a large shadow pass over him, yet he was unable to see what caused it from the sun's glare.

Kimball looks around for at the sky for a bit, wandering what could've made that noise.

' Maybe a plane? Then again, what kind of plane goes this near the ground ? '

Kimball thought to himself as he walks a few steps backwards, trying to get a glimpse of whatever passed over him.

' Eh, maybe I'm just being paranoid. '

Kimball decides as he turns around to walk forward toward the bus. After barely walking a foot, he jumps back when some crows and ravens fly, seemingly toward his face as they croak and cawed in an almost mocking manner.

" AAAAHhhhhhhh! ! ! "

He screams, catching the attention of the adults and his peers along with a raven with an amber eye. They laugh among themselves as they see Kimball back away from seemingly harmless birds and then attempting to hit one of them with a rock.
