Ludo woke up to a shake. He looked up and saw his monster army and Toffee around him. They were looking at his hands, so Ludo instinctively looked at his hands, and saw dimensional scissors. He shook his head and studied them for a second, and then he gasped in horror as he realized that these weren't any dimensional scissors. They were Star and Marcos.
"What happened" He asked Toffee quietly. Toffee looked at him for a minute, and then took a deep breath.
"Bill possessed you. He only possessed me as something to scare you by. He made you throw Star and Marco into another dimension." Toffee said, looking away.
Ludo was horrified. Don't get him wrong, he still hated them a little, but as much as he tried, he couldn't convince himself that it was ok that that's what happened.
"I wanna find them" Ludo said aloud. Toffee looked at him in surprise.
"Are you sure? Aren't they your enemies?" Toffee asked, startled by Ludo's declaration.
"Yes. Nobody deserves to be stranded in another dimension..not even if they are my enemies" Ludo declared, feeling a good unknown feeling wash upon him as he said it.
"What is this feeling? the feeling of being good? if it is...maybe I should change my ways.." Ludo thought, shocking himself. He then felt Toffee's gaze burning into him. He shook his head, and without hesitating, he opened a portal, and jumped in, a shocked Toffee jumping in as well after a moment.

Toffee landed feet first, while Ludo fell on his face. Toffee was very amused.
"Well, I've had better landings" Ludo commented as he got up and dusted himself off. Toffee had to stifle a snort of amusement. Ludo noticed this and shot him a glare.
"What! it was funny!" Toffee protested. Ludo shook his head, a small amused smirk on his face. Toffee wondered what the smirk was for.
"He is an interesting creature. That's a fact" Toffee thought wryly, rolling his eyes as Ludo investigated a pine tree needle.
Ludo turned back towards Toffee, much to Toffee's relief.
"The sooner we get this over with, the better." Toffee thought. He hated being here in this dimension, because it was the center of weirdness.
"Although Mewni could be a easy competitor for weirdness" Toffee thought wryly. Turning to Ludo, he realized that Ludo had been talking.
"Um..What?" Toffee said awkwardly. He hated this feeling of being unsure. He was always so confident, and..well...counted as I bad guy, but here, in the gathering darkness of the forest, Toffee had never felt so unsure or alone.
"Well, I was thinking we should split up-" Ludo began before Toffee cut him off.
"No. we need to stay together. This is Bill's refuge place, remember?" Toffee said, anxiously. Ludo gave him a sympathetic look, which Toffee snorted at, not willing to say how unsure and insecure he felt right now out loud to this petty bad-guy wannabe.
Ludo was quiet for a minute, as if sensing Toffee's distress.
"Ok. Fine." Ludo agreed. Happy to sit down for the first time that day, Toffee settled down beside a tree, and got a welcome rest.
