(Alternate Reality after Ultron's defeat)

The tower was mostly silent. Two streaks, one blue and one purple, raced through the hallways, purple streak in the lead. "You will never beat me Frate(Brother)! You're too slow!" "I am not! You take that back!" "Never!' Anya grinned as she raced ahead, flashing past Tony, who was crossing the hallway, and almost running him over. Luna, enjoying this just as much as the Sibling Speedsters were, was commenting on the whole thing as if she was reporting on the World Cup, even though the whole thing was a blur to humans. "And Anya is in the lead, but Pietro isn't far behind. Now he's catching up, and he passes her by a hair, but now she's back in the lead. Now he's back in the lead, but she passes him by a nose. Oh, what a day for a highly caffeinated race." In the dining room, Wanda was sitting at the table, trying to concentrate on her drawing, when she sensed her Twin's mind. Her eyes widened in horror when she saw inside. Every one of Anya's thoughts were racing faster than usual, and for once, she could actually read her Twin's thoughts when Anya was using her great Speed, instead of the white static she usually received when her sister ran. This could only mean one thing. Meanwhile, as Anya and Pietro raced, they passed by the living room, where Natasha and Clint were on the couch. They were currently betting money on who would tire out first. "It's totally Anya. She's the faster of the two. She's sure to win!" Natasha rolled her eyes. "You're just on her side cause she's less annoying than her brother. That's completely biased!" "No it's not!" Clint protested."I am not biased. It's based solely on... fact... if I could find facts to fit this situation..." Luna glared over at them. "He is not annoying." Steve walked in, carrying groceries. "What's going on out there?" Nat grinned. "The two Speedsters are racing, and we're betting on the winner." Luna couldn't help but laugh as she added, "I gave them too much coffee on accident. It's so funny. You should join us in spectating." Steve shrugged. "As long as they don't break anything or hurt themselves..." When Pietro passed one time, Luna heard him say, "I wonder if I can phase through walls if I run fast enough..." He started off at full speed, and ran smack into the wall. Bouncing back and landing on his butt, he groaned holding his head. "Guess not!!!" Anya taunted as she passed him. He got up and started chasing her again. Meanwhile, Wanda glared at the two as they passed her. The wind blew her hair into her face as Anya knocked into Wanda's hand. When Luna looked over at the sudden stop in laughter, she saw a huge black smear across the drawing Wanda had been working on since that morning. Wanda herself looked like she wanted to throw someone out the nearby window, and Luna had a suspicion as to whom. Her eyes were glowing red, one of them twitching uncontrollably. Meanwhile, the two Speedsters were currently outside, running up the side of the Tower. Anya, still high on sugar, gave a crazy laugh, her pupils so small, it looked like she didn't have any. Pietro was just as high, a wide grin on his face, his eyes wild. "Hey, Pietro, if we run fast enough, will we be able to run on air?!?" "You mean like Sonic?! I don't know, Anya! Let's find out!!!" He laughed, and the two ran faster. But before they could run off the Tower and promptly kill themselves, they were surrounded by scarlet tendrils of energy. They froze mid-run, levitating back into the tower. Both of their legs were still running in the air. "Look Pietro! It worked!" Anya giggled. Pietro giggled with her. Once inside, the two came face to face with an enraged Wanda. She glared at them for a full minute, using her Magic to stop their still rotating feet. Anya simply snickered, still hyper. "Hi Wandy! How's it going?" Without turning her head, the elder Twin asked the others in a dangerously calm voice, "...Who overloaded them with sugar?" Everyone, hearing the hidden threat in her soft tone, immediately pointed to Luna. "Thanks a lot for sticking up for a friend, guys. You could've told her they got into it themselves..." "Lulu did it..." The two Speedsters started chanting, and Wanda gave her the Death Glare, eyes glowing red in anger. "Did you just see what they were about to do?! This is why you don't give two people with Super Speed too much sugar!" Her glare switched to her siblings. "And you two! You know better than to overload yourselves, especially after what happened last time! Three pieces of candy are enough to last you the whole day!" She then cleared their minds, causing them to snap out of the high. "...I feel sick..." Anya muttered, and Pietro glanced at her. "You're not the only one... and my butt hurts..." "Have you learned your lesson?" Wanda asked sweetly. The two gulped and nodded, not once fooled by her sickly sweet tone. Wanda's angry glare was then re-focused on Luna. "And what about you? What would you have done if they had made it off the roof?" Luna looked down, trying really hard to not laugh. "Well, I knew you were there, so I knew they were safe..." She looked up again and saw the look on Wanda's face. She was staring at her with a mixture of disbelief, horror, and anger. "And what if I wasn't there? What would you have done then?! What would you have done if you would've had to watch your precious Pietro, MY brother, hit the ground, oh, what is that, about a hundred stories down, maybe more? Honestly, I think I'm the only one who actually thinks in this 'family'. Ever." "Wait a minute. Did we really almost jump off the roof of the tower!?" Anya stared fearfully at the coffee jug as if it were a bomb. "...Now I'm definitely never drinking that again." And that's how the running (no pun intended) coffee joke started.
